New York Bakery Makes John Oliver Cake Bear After ‘Last Week Tonight' Plea 

John Oliver's request for a bear-shaped cake in exchange for new cooking equipment was granted by a bakery in Kingston, New York. Deising's Bakery & Restaurant made 80 bear-shaped cake bears, which sold out in less than an hour. The bakery received new equipment from a closed-down Red Lobster, which was requested by Oliver on his June 2 show. The cakes are priced at $8 each, with proceeds earmarked for Peoples' Place Food Pantry in Kingston.#USNews
