If you went down the subway after you pay the fare you realize you are in the wrong way you go back up exit cross the street go down the right way go to the booth tell the person who are working there what happen they will let you in for free it's happen to me all the time. A real teenage New Yorker will jump the turnstiles, they know that.
Indeed you can do that but when you are a tourist and english is not you mother tongue it could be tough sometimes. I remember i used to jump the turnstiles back in the day in Paris...
@@omarlamericain1985 Yeah I saw some people squeezed behind others at Gare du Nord to get into the station, also at Bir-Hakeim station but the police always running after them.
Petit commentaire d'un montréalais qui, dans une vie antérieure, allait à New-York 3 ou 4 fois par année. Le truc quand on arrive en voiture c'est de ne pas aller avec sa voiture dans la ville elle-même. L'idéal c'est de se trouver un hôtel dans le New Jersey (sur la rive droite du fleuve Hudson) avec un parking et qui soit situé à proximité d'une station du PATH (Port Authority Trans Hudson). Le PATH c'est comme le RER à Paris ou le S-Bahn à Berlin. Ce métro régional permet de relier la rive droite de l'Hudson (le New-Jersey) à la rive gauche (Manhattan, New-York) pour environ 3 USD. Les hôtels au New Jersey sont généralement moins chers que leur contre-partie à New-York et comme le trajet en PATH n'est que de 20-30 minutes, les économies réalisées en valent la peine.
