San Bernardino is in the IE. about 50 miles east of La. It’s pretty much the deserted version of La. Use to be big steel company back in the day that employed a lot of ppl in the city until the steel company left and left a lot of ppl unemployed. San Bernardino from downtown and all around looks really beat down. Hella ppl started moving out of La towards San Bernardino or up in the high desert like victorville or Bakersfield and took gang banging with them.

I would say the same thing about Nas, he never made another album as good as Illmatic, he’s had other good albums but nothing better than tht, same thing with Snoop his next best album after doggystyle came almost 15 years later with the Blue Carpet Treatment
I agree..Nas is a perfect comparison to Snoop.. Nas lyrics are top tier but he can't put great. Classic songs . Snoop is more of a persona ,an icon. I'm not hating it's just my opinion
