California prisons run in what are called cars. You have the Northern Mexicans, Southern Mexicans, Blacks/Africans, Whites or Woods, Others, and Drop Out gangs. Things are divided along a racial line. Historically the Southern Mexicans have had a rocky alliance with the Woods, and the Northern Mexicans were on good terms with Blacks. Others also have an off and on relationship with Blacks. The Drop Outs are ppl who fell out of graces with the Southern Mexicans aka Mexican Mafia and started their own dropout gangs. A lot have changed in a short amount of time in the CPCR. California, one of the most liberal states are the most segregated. California is a prison state.

i’m fighting my first strike again even if u only have 1 strike if u get locked up it automatically doubles your time, for example if i was to get this and get locked up for say 2 years it’ll automatically turn into 4 years bcs the strike.

14:14 14:40 Yessir I did time as an active Norteño in the California Prison System starting in 2009 and holding a weapon on a level 3 mainline wasn't mandatory but highly expected, when a number of us were transferred to a California out of state Prison we left Arizona headed to Oklahoma packing on a bus drive over 20hrs with a weapon because tensions were high with 1000 southsiders that were on that yard where we were only 200 deep I got a taste of that Pinta lifestyle as a Norteño and that shit tested my manhood believe that!

100. I know people who were locked up with Boxer. He as solid as they get.... Everything he says is the truth. If you go to his youtube and listen to his stories, a few of them I know people who were there at some of them and verified they were facts.....
