New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles | 2022 Week 18 Game Highlights 

As a Giants fan I offer my congratulations to the Eagles and their fans for a spectacular season. The Giants loss today didn’t affect their playoffs seeding, and it offered an opportunity for the backup players to get some reps. Both teams have restored the NFC East division to respectability and competitiveness.

The giants backups played HARD. Kudos.

As a Giants fan, I am so proud of David Webb for playing his heart out tonight and congratulations to Kenny Golladay on his first TD catch as a Giant. I expected a blowout but these guys fought with so much passion and heart all game and I appreciate them. GGs Eagles fans and congratulations on getting the number 1 seed in the NFC East and NFC in general.

Of course happy for Webb to get some NFL stats under his belt, but Gary Brightwell is another guy who deserves recognition . The guy almost always does something good when he gets his chances.

Webb had his Rudy moment today. Happy for the guy.

A good performance by the Giants second and third team players playing with a lot of heart against an outstanding Eagles team.

I expected nothing from this Giants practice squad but they played their HEARTS out. And I couldn't help but loudly applaud when Webb trucked his way into the end zone for a touchdown.

As an Eagles fan. Webb played well beyond my expectations I was actually scared

Gotta say, its always an accomplishment to throw/run for a TD in the NFL. It is not an easy business, but these guys make it look so effortless. Kudos to Webb! Something he'll remember forever!

As a Giants fan it's always made me mad when fans called our division "the NFC LEAST". This div has always been one of the toughest divs to play in. These teams beat the hell outta each other every year. 3 teams in the playoffs this yr. Gotta luv it cuz i sure as hell do. Kick sum ass Gmen!

It’s amazing to see the culture Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen built in East Rutherford, NJ despite the clear lack of capable pass-catchers.

I was hoping the Giants would play their starters to keep the momentum going but understand the logic in resting them instead. With that being said, after a slow start, Davis Webb & the Giants offense got going & put up a fight. With some more time, they could’ve pulled off a huge upset. Either way, win or lose, the Giants end up helping one of their two bitterest division rivals in the Eagles or Cowboys. As far aa Kenny Golloday, talk about an enigma. He’s dropped easy passes but made an insane one-handed TD catch in this game. So far in his Giants career, WR Kenny Golloday has been hurt but when he’s played he’s been unproductive to say the least. Golloday has remained stoic though & unlike the head scratching disgruntled head case that’s Kadarius Toney, Golloday hasn’t been a negative distraction or caused issues by complaining or vocalizing dirty laundry. For all intents & purposes, despite the poor play & criticism Golloday has remained a solid citizen. His poor play is all the more perplexing because of it. It would be amazing if this caused a spark with him. Imagine if he shows up for the playoffs & contributes to the offense in the post-season. It would be a huge help & lift to this team if he showed up. I won’t count on it but I’m hopeful that he rises to the occasion & helps Big Blue. How amazing would that be? If he had a big game, it’d do a lot to endear himself to Giants fans & would certainly help his career & future with the Giants. Let’s Go Giants! Let’s shock the NFL & pull off some upsets in the playoffs. 🔷Big🟦Blue🔷 FTW Baby!🤘👍Let’s Freaking Go!!!!!!

I still can’t believe Brian Daboll threw out his third stringers and out-coached the best team in the NFC. The fact that game was one possession solidifies Daboll’s status as Coach of the Year. What a hire he’s been for the #Giants.

Love the fight playing with mostly backups against the best team in the league in the league for much of the year, onto Minnesota.

The Philadelphia Eagles finished 14-3🟢⚫️⚪️🦅 They won their first NFC East title for the first time since 2019 they’re secured the Top Seed and Home Field Advantage in the NFC Playoffs

As a Birds fan big shoutout to this Giants squad. They played tough. I didnt agree with Jalen playing unless he was healthy but the shoulder looks good to go. Getting this bye was crucial.

The Giants as a whole play a great game great effort by the second and third team. David Webb played a great game. I knew he knew the system and he really played with heart and showed that he could play against the no. 1 team Kudos to the Giants. Then could play the Eagles again but I believe this time the Giants will figure a way to win.

What a Regular Season it has been. Jake Elliott won us this game with his clutch Field Goal Kicking, and now we host The Divisional, and NFCCG (maybe). Everybody is now 0-0. But I'm very happy with this season. #FlyEaglesFly

This was a game about the Coach of the Year. Giants played without starters and stayed competitive. I think this was the plan. With that said, I see great potential in Webb. I'd like to see him play with starters

I've been watching A.J Brown ever since he was playing with the Tennessee Titans, this dude has always been under-rated. However in my humble opinion he's one of the top 5 WR in the NFL right now. He's got skills. He's a bad man!!!!!

Webb played great, Golladay got a TD, and the Defense kept the Eagles in check! Even though it was a loss, it was really fun to watch!!! (Webb should be the backup QB next year!)

The Linc's field looks really nice for grass. They have done a good job maintaining it over the years.

I can’t believe that Webb, Breida and Golladay combined for a record 2652 yards and 37 touchdowns. That 99 yard Hail Mary catch by Golladay was insane. I did not know he had it in him.

I love my Giants. But I hate the Cowboys so much that it's more than just a consolation to know that this loss hurts them, not us. 🤣
