Day 120+. A great accomplishment for NY. From being the epicenter of the virus in the US, North America, to Crushing the curve. This required a great dose of competence, bravery & toughness to accomplish. Thanks to our great Governor for stepping up so confidently in the absence of a national leadership.

Meaning, New Yorkers are intelligent, and you listened to your Governor! Isn't that great and to be thankful, to your Governor?.

I wish our governor here in Arizona would have followed Governor Cuomo's plan. Instead, we are increasing daily and even considered the hot spot and we were so low for the longest time and we did begin with social distancing but when it did hit us we were already tired of missing social contact. Now we are to continue social distancing but many started cheating. Our governor didn't react fast enough. So sad for us, especially since NY was showing how to do it.

I am so glad I live in NYC, we actually live in reality here.

The New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo is an amazing individual! He has the best interest of the American people that he services. He has done an tremendous job in facilitating how to handle covid 19. Infrastructure jobs: retro-fitting all buildings with hepa:filters in air ducts. Manufacturing jobs: Hepa filters, plexiglass shields, PPE, sign production, etc.. Construction jobs: Hospitals, public health centers. Education jobs: Science and History, Nutrition, gun violence is not freedom

He does not care if you don't like it, cause he is the Gov.

When you talk about filtration systems, I remember a time when there was a serious incident quite a few years ago with the filtration systems in a Hospital that were so bad , people got very sick, I Believe some died from this. They should be constantly checked or changed in Hospitals and other Health Care facilities as well ASAP, if it's not there already in place. I have a permanent condition (MCS) where i have to avoid recycled air systems, They can make me extremely sick. And others too. About 15 years ago I became friends with one of them, Patrick Gallagher, and he tested one of his great ideas, a catalytic converter for use inside buildings. He installed it in Great Ormand Street Hospital for sick children, in London, and it worked wonders, improving the health of sick children. NYS legislators expect the new cannabis industry to bring $300 million per year in tax revenue when fully rolled out. Which is great news for NY, right? Except that Senator Krueger who has been helping lead the way in cannabis reform has recently (March 12th) revised her bill S1527C to keep similar penalties for marijuana that are in place today. She can be seen speaking at a CannaGather event stating the NYS government spends upwards of $500 million on marijuana enforcement each year! This is a combination of monies spent on policing, prosecutions, and dept of corrections. How is it possible that we are willing to legalize but still spend more on enforcement costs than tax revenue brought in by this new industry, where is the social justice in that? Anyone following the politics of this process of bringing legalized cannabis to NYS has heard all these lawmakers claim "It's about doing things right" for years now but yet they are willing to submit to the status quo. Whether you are a marijuana user or not does this make sense for our state? I personally don't see how. Right now possession in the 1st holds 15yrs in jail, after legalization the Governor wants it to hold 7yrs! That is an awful long time for something that is freely purchased in stores. If NY goes ahead with this legalization plan it will ruin all of the good it can make. I don't know what the fix/answer is here as these lawmakers know our opinion on marijuana, polls show over 60% support marijuana legalization. This is a very complicated topic and an uncomfortable one for some but I think the people have spoken in both the polls and the simple fact that we won't let anyone tell us we can't use marijuana even after decades of war against us. You can keep locking the people/voters/tax payers away but we never let go of our herb, it only becomes more ingrained in our society. With the risk of Covid are we really still going to be endangering the lives of non violent people along with corrections officers over weed? Again, something freely purchased in stores.
