Steve, I do love your work & envy your travels, as I loved travel for travel's sake when younger. Stumbled across your new vids first, but am now starting back where you started (there's wild, impressive growth in your hosting of these! Congrats!) I especially loved this video, as I sit in my happy Manhattan home of 45 yrs. (MUCH cheaper then; only folks from Dubai & Hong Kong can afford it now). Here, you've done a marvelous job of presenting our meager, happy burgh, w/ all its bustle, charm, excitement & LIFE! I've often given tours & had fun showing it off. But you've done a brilliant job of it. Whenever you plan your next NYC sojourn (Apr-Oct), see if you can squeeze in a aft. for the Circle Line Cruise (right next to the Intrepid). It has one job (sails a loop around Manhattan & returns to its pier). I always took out-of-towner friends & family there -- it's the single best way to see much of the city in a short time & to comprehend its size, scope & variety; it also has a guide/narrator pointing out things that'd be missed, which I think you would enjoy. Highly recommended! Again, am enjoying your work along the way immensely & look forward to catching up finally to the current vids, where I started. Excelsior!

Great video! My daughter went to Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ and would take me into NYC when I would drive down there to visit her, including the High Line which is super interesting! Her campus over looked the Hudson and NYC and she would point out the iconic buildings, like the Vessel/Hudson Yards, Freedom Tower from her dorm. NYC is exciting and all, but wow, an overload for the senses. Nice memory of the Concorde which I would see going overhead each day when I lived in the UK with my host family. What a sight, my "British" mom would run outside when she "The Concorde" was overhead and just wave.

I finally had time to watch it! Very nice video😙

Hi, I stood on that very same carrier back in 2005 even snuck onto The Concorde seat (too snug for my liking) Although I enjoyed the energy of Times Square and Christmas decor ,its too busy for me. Did enjoy the shrimp at Bubba Gump (Forrest Gump reference movie) Yes the T Towers golden escalator quite impressive but however I would take a quiet small town journey of one of your videos over that. I just can't choose which one to visit? Cheers ☕

I hope you got a chance to go to the TWA Hotel. My wife and I spent our anniversary night there. She is an architect, and a big fan of Saarinen. You do feel like you took a step back in time when you are in that building. I'd recommend going into the bar inside the plane for a fancy cocktail. I had an old fashioned, of course.

Hi Steve, I’m a regular to your channel but just happened to stumble upon this one! Had a 5 day trip to NYC & few years ago & truthfully only scratched the surface! Never knew about the aircraft carrier/museum! Have to visit that next trip there. Katz’s Deli is out the door busy all the time, next time you go you need to go in and try the pastrami/ corned beef combo sandwich Reuben style, my word it’s a mountain of meat but sooooo tasty!😜 Thanks for the memories! Believe me, mate, it's 2024 now, and you take a subway only if you don't care to live. Absolutely NOT safe. I watch your videos to be distracted from living in NYC, where the quality of life is deteriorating fast. As a Dutch Brit, I've suffered the upper west side of NYC, on the filthy Hudson, for 17 years now, and circumstances won't permit me to get some fresh air and clean living, and the mountains where I was born.

Well old boy when you put trump in I shut it off , see you on the next one.
