I'm french and our cities (Paris, Marseille, Lyon,...) are also falling appart because of mass immigration. Billions of money is going to migrants to find them homes, foods, and free health care while our people (students, poor workers, retired...) are eating one meal a day. We are walking on the head. Let's stop this madness!!

I'm so sick of this shit. I'm from a tiny town in rural Scotland (one of the whitest areas in the UK) and the Home Office has just bought a hotel there to house illegal migrants - all of whom are young men who aren't even fleeing any war. Same another towns local to it. Absolutely no one has asked for this, no one wants this, but it is being forced upon us all over the Europe. And we, the taxpayers, are paying for it and having our resources stretched to breaking point because of it.

This is a situation many towns have dealt with, but nobody seemed to care because the locations weren't globally "important." Now that NYC is feeling their resources become overwhelmed, it's catching attention. We can't take care of others if we don't have the setup to take care of ourselves. Only when politicians elections are endangered will they care enough to act, sadly. Thank you, Cash, for sharing the reality!

But the fact is LA is getting the same thing without that many issues because LA has the infrastructure and people are happy to assist, but people are choosing to go to the East Coast, the fact is they don't want to stay there many of them want to head to where they can work and meet family, but most of the issues is processing them so they can work. I don't understand how it's confusing other than people aren't actually reading into it because reading's hard.

And it's overwhelmingly the inhospitable climates where the summers or the winters or both unalive homeless individuals at an alarming rate. Is it right? NO. Is it forcing a homeless person to do anything they don't want to do, NO. Plenty of homeless individuals make their way to SoCal ALL ON THEIR OWN. @@kgal1298 but NY has way more people than LA, NY almost has twice the amount of people. People don't want to stay in NY because it is expensive and crowded which isn't that much different from the reason why some people don't want to stay in LA. Most go to the east coast because there are better cost of living opportunities out there like living in the South East part or living in other parts of the North East. Cali will always be a hot spot, but for what Cali offers, living in Atlanta or even Charlotte NC, can get you 90 percent of that with a cost of living that is over 30 percent less

It's hard to feel sorry for New York, as Texas and the other border states were mocked when they asked for help.
@KatieReadsKoziesAndMore
@KatieReadsKoziesAndMore 11 месяцев назад
NYC didn’t kick out their immigrants. Unlike Texas and Florida who have put barriers in the border river that caused people to drown. Never mind shipping them to other states instead of taking care of their own responsibilities. I am liberal, so I’m disappointed that Cash is showing only FOX “News”. They have been charged mega bucks for the lies they told and had to fire Tucker Carlson for all the evil lies he spouts. Don’t jump on me. This is my opinion and I am entitled to it. I am not bashing Cash or anyone else for being conservative. One problem that compounds the immigrant crisis is the number of Americans who continue to think of NYC as their own personal way to earn a fortune and become rich and famous. As a teenager back in the 1970’s I had that desire. But visiting the place and seeing the cost of spaces to sleep while sharing bathroom facilities with everyone on the floor was outrageous. I went home. Got an average job and built my life slowly and steadily. We cannot all be millionaires, or famous actors/musicians. Bus a few tables. Earn your tips. Go home and help your parents. It is far from ideal, but it affords most of us better chances at reaching an acceptable quality of living. As far as garbage clean-up, why not task immigrants with duties like these in exchange for their housing here? It drives me crazy when Americans whine about immigrants taking work away from US citizens. But ask the citizens why they are refusing menial labor jobs on farms, city services, etc. there are plenty of job openings…but we cannot all make exorbitant salaries. Start slow and build up. That was what I had to do and I never became a rich person. Scrubbing floors is a drag, but starving is life threatening. Making babies when you cannot feed yourself is criminal. We all make choices. This, these problems belong to every citizen, and immigrant worldwide. Immigration is a worldwide problem because of many issues, including wars in third world countries. If you can’t handle the city…move. Stop crowding the subways. Midwestern towns are less expensive and could offer you a steep rise in your way of life. PS: if your parents let you move home, pull you weight. You are no longer a helpless child who needs their care. As an adult you need to share equally in the cost of living with them. Or, get your own apartment. That is certainly going to make more responsibilities for you. Ask not what your country can do for you. But what you can do for your country. J.F. Kennedy.

With all the flooding last Friday, I would think that the infrastructure needs to be maintained much better...and need to put money into updating it, as these weather patterns are happening more frequently. Right to shelter was enacted in 1981, before these mass waves of migrants came into NYC. Back then, if you were impoverished and American, NYC would help you find at least a studio to live in. It was a way to help Americans and some recent immigrants. Now, there are massive waves of migrants growing through Texas,Arizona and now New York . The issue is not necessarily the law, meant to help Americans but the massive intake of migrants- where are they from, why are they here, and most importantly HOW and WHO told them to come to NYC.

Real estate has practically tripled in 8 years. The irony is the more people Canada let's in, the worse Canada gets - it's really not even a good place to immigrate to anymore because it's too expensive, but the government is selling a fantasy.

Facilities have had to be provided for them, often to the disadvantage of locals. There are homeless locals, working people struggling to provide their families with food, and a breakdown of the infrastructure in areas that do not get money spent on them, such as the suburbs just outside the CBD. No one knows what will happen next, but I know that I'll be paying higher local tax for fewer services. No one is willing to take responsibility. Sometimes, often, what the nation spends overseas benefits all of us, like sending arms to Ukraine, as much as they need, whether you or others can comprehend that or not because it's not simple. When the US sends help to starving and disaster stricken people overseas, it buys us influence against the larger threats of expansion of nefarious powers; it's not just charity. We got a lot of cheap goods from China for many years instead of wages keeping up with inflation. That needs to be corrected now. That trade with China and other Asian countries cut their poverty in half, making them stronger; that's a good thing. Now it's time to cut back on them, producing what we need (not want) within the US, Mexico and Canada. Isolationism in this era of globalism is a huge mistake.

We dealt with this in Miami in the early 80s, when Castro sent 120,000 migrants. Time magazine called it “Paradise Lost,” and we became the murder capital of the nation. It took over a decade to recover, and Miami is a much better place because of the influx, but it was a painful time. I was in middle school and high school at the time, and I used to go to work with my father in the summer. There were huge tent cities built under the highways, built by the federal government. They had no A/C. In Miami. In the summer. It was brutal.

NYC billionaires made it a better place. NYC money built it not Cuban immigrants, they spend their money to support it. Most of Miami is a dump made from cinder block structures. The area the tourist flock to isn't even Miami, It's Miami beach which is a separate city with its own city government.

As many have said. I wish we could take all the illegal immigrants that liberals demand we accept and move them onto their property and into their homes. Wholehearted agree. If that happened (voters being forced to take personal accountability for the results of their votes) then maybe, just maybe it would force these people to realize the absolute, pure, unadulterated insanity of liberal policies and encourage them to change the way that they think, divert their minds from the fantasy world they live in and stop voting for liberal democrats who destroy everything that they touch. No one is perfect and conservative politicians can certainly be scumbags too, but the damage caused to our nation (and the risk to our national security and personal safety) by liberal politicians and their policies cannot be ignored or rationalized or defended or deflected. Absurd liberal ideas seem great to liberal voters when the consequences of those policies only effect everyone else. Then when their ideals begin to effect them personally, all of a sudden they cry “these migrants are destroying our city” and “stop sending migrants here” and “the city cannot sustain asylum seeker care” and “we are evicting migrants”. Utter hypocrisy. Disgusting. Time to start reaping what you’ve sown

Prior to Covid I visited NYC. My husband and I were walking around and came upon a lovely neighborhood. At least half the homes had signs that said “Migrants Welcome Here”. My first thought was that this neighborhood was so off the beaten path that it was unlikely any migrants could even find this welcoming spot. Then I wondered just how welcoming these people would be. Would they welcome them into their homes? I think the solution is to house the migrants into every home that had one of those signs. They were wither virtue signaling knowing they had zero risk or they meant it. Let’s put it to the test.

1:00 "It looks like they fixed it". Anyone who lives in this city knows they don't fix anything. They put those huge orange tubes around the area for about 6 decades, and then they drill a huge hole in the ground, "fix" whatever was wrong below the street, then a huge forklift carries this large metal sheet that is used as the street. Right next to the scaffolding thats been there since 2001, and a blocked off sidewalk that forces people to walk on the street with a crossing guard. No matter what area you live in, its like this, rich or poor, you're at least 50 feet away from a scaffolding or a closed off street.

Okay, so the Mayor of New York is saying that the city won't be able to handle all of the people how are coming into the city. How long have the states that are on the Mexican border been pretty much exclusively dealing with the migrant issue for decades, they can't keep doing that anymore,the rest of the country has to take on part of the load, it's time for the rest of the country to take on part of the load too.

limit migration and close borders until this country is able to care for the people already here. It’s insane to think that a country with the worst homeless problem in the world, extreme inequality and poverty, and failing public infrastructure can somehow handle MORE people than it already has. It’s unfair to everyone involved, including the migrants who are being fed a lie that they’ll actually be taken care of here.

It’s got potential disaster written all over it. You’ll have socio economic issues, crime will go up and how are they even vetting individual migrants, checking into their backgrounds etc. even if they are vetted and clean unless they’ve got a skill set how are they going to be able to afford to live in New York? It’s literally one of the most expensive states to live in. Taxation is the only way they can generate the money to sustain the influx I don’t see how they can afford it otherwise. I don’t think cuts is the answer as with increased numbers you need a well supported infrastructure.

I had an option in 1996 to either move to NYC or upstate NY. I chose a rural county similar to where I came from in Minnesota. It was the better option at the time. Twenty years later,I came back to Minnesota. The place I chose to move to is not only rural, but downright wilderness. 2020 proved that that was a good call as well. It's too cold here for any city dweller out of staters and especially illegals. The only illegals we get are Canadians😂🤣😅. At least they speak our language.
