I have to admit Chloë Grace Moritz is smart! 1, She’s a Isles fan & 2, She backed out of that TERRIBLE remake of The Little Mermaid! Those are the type of choices that can make or break an actress’s career! P.s. Considering all the big-time British actors in Peripheral; Chloe holds her own!
@@keroki932 Hmmm, Interesting reply. I don’t know how or why you came to that conclusion by my comment. However, that’s not the reason why the movie sucked. I genuinely feel sorry for you that you see racism everywhere. You need a reset, because that’s not the reason why the majority of people didn’t like the movie. (Honestly? That thought never crossed my mind) I do hope you can get through your insecurities, I really do.
@@kenduffy5397 Why didn't you like the movie then? What I suspect is that many people hold onto the original movie and cause of that can't appreciate a live action movie with too many changes.
@@Readysetgo2007 Also, The Little Mermaid was the end of an era & a classic. It was the last feature film by Disney that was animated in the traditional method of hand-painting cel. 1, It’s extremely difficult to win over fans of any classic movie. Especially the original Little Mermaid. Example: Look at how badly Disney destroyed Star Wars. So much so, that I don’t watch any of the new movies. I mean… I had a girlfriend who collected all the “action figures” (for lack of a better word). I mean… right from beginning your fighting an uphill battle because the original was animated movie & was a huge success & a classic. I don’t even know why Disney bothers with these remakes? They had have known it wasn’t going to go do well with the now adult diehard Little Mermaid fans. It’s hard enough to recreate a great, great classic movie like The Little Mermaid. If they wanted to make a non-animated movie about Mermaids? 🧜♀️ (It should have been animated) They should have gone with a comedy/love story like the classic movie “Splash” which was an awesome non-animated Mermaid movie. The reason Disney didn’t go the Splash route is that they did NOT want an R rated movie. (Obviously, a Mermaid is topless) So it’s another one of those horrible Disney movie money grabs. Why that person brought race into my conversation? I no idea? That never crossed my mind for a second. Plus, my wife & I stopped watching almost a 1\2 hour in. We thought it was that bad. We knew it wasn’t going to be as good as the first one but we gave it a shot anyways.
