QWANTEZ IS A DAAWWWWGGGGG!!!! ❤ THE BACK END PICKS, & THE DUAL BRUSIERS ...DIDNT LIKE THE ALLEN PICK AT FIRST THEN REWARCHED SOME TAPE & HIGHLIGHTS, ❤ ISAIAH DAVIS & QUANTEZ STIGGERS, WOW STUDS!!!
Hi Matt! This could be Izzy Abanikanda's final season with the Jets. Cannot pass protect, only a speedster IMO. Hence NYJ selected Isaiah Davis as insurance policy.
Y’all are cashing in on Jordan Travis. He’ll be learning from the most accurate QB ever (ARod). Coming from a GB/ARod fan, he is very good at mentoring. We all had our doubts about Jordan Love, he was not accurate coming out of college. But Aaron Rodgers mentored him and helped him master his fundamentals, which made him a lot more accurate in the long run. Y’all will look back on that pick in 2-3 years when he’s your starter after ARod retires.
It's okay, the JFM trade..frees up snaps for JJ, Reddick and McD IV and cap space. Clemons can lose 5 lbs and maybe look better on the edge too, and staff has shown they can develop no name guys. Fine at edge, and getting a 3rd next year was a steal for dropping (Detroit made a crazy pick there). We still got a RB we wanted and Jordan Travis. Home run draft. Maybe a guard but whatever, let's go, Super Bowl or bust
ABSOLUTELY 💯 GREAT DRAFT BY JOE DOUGLAS!!! DIDNT LOVE JFM TRADE BUT SIGNED UDFA LENOARD TAYLOR III 👏! DIDNT LOVE ALLEN PICK BUT REWATCHED SOME TAPE & HIGHLIGHTS HE'S A STUD & ONLY 20!!! ❤ ISAIAH DAVIS MATT IS UNDERSELLING HIM BIG TIME, I 👀 ALOT OF FCS 🏈 BE TIGHT COMPETITION BETWEEN DAVIS/ALLEN!!! QWANTEZ STIGGERS WAS MY FAVORITE PLAYER & STORY IN THE DRAFT ❤❤❤❤, TARGETED EARLY FOR MR.IRRELEVANT BUT GOT SO MUCH POSITIVE PUB HAD TO GET HIM EARLIER BUT ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE PICK, KEY WILL MAKE GOOD DEPTH/BOX SAFTEY!!! SOLID B+ HAD THE RAIDERS AT A OTHER THAN THAT JETS RIGHT THERE IN ARGUMENT FOR BEST DRAFT WITH CHARGERS AT B+ !!! AFC GONNA BE SOOOO STACKED!!!
I will be honest out of all of our picks up 2 Davis my least favorite is Corley. I thought there was better prospects that could separate better than him still on the table. He also went to a small school. I’m really not sure if any of his skills will translate. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s not bulldozing over people all the time. He also doesn’t look like a very good route runner. I hope I’m wrong!
Great weekend, Great Draft. JFM is a Cap casualty sadly but is the business and they had been working on it for weeks while not wanting to take a cut or restructure. Like the recoup of the third rounder but other trade didn't pan out as good. Only thing I would change draft wise was maybe taking Rice/Mahoghany over the 2nd RB, but who knows maybe I will be wrong. Really excited about Stiggers.
Sure...but maybe that's also a product of how good the roster is...who's the weak link? LB3 Sherwood? We play a lot of nickel. So maybe safety was the one position where we could've drafted a guy to steal a starting spot, but don't think any safety in the draft was good enough to become a starter, even tho yeah I think TA is OK not great, Clark is a question mark, Davis is good as backup
And on offense, if Mike Williams is healthy he's WR2. Weren't going to draft a Conklin replacement...maybe if you went guard in the 1st he could've moved Simpson to the bench, but not going G in the 1st. Awesome draft, deep team, Allen will be good pass pro back...Jordan Travis might be the steal of the draft.
@@michaelbaptista9796agreed Jordan Travis looks like a complete prospect. If not for his injury he might’ve been a 1st or 2nd Round Pick. He’s a brilliant pick for the Jets. He can recover and learn under the brilliance of Aaron Rodgers! Let’s Go Jets!
If Williams goes down we're back to where we started. Love MC pick but still I was hoping for a shiny new weapon with such a deep class they still struck out
If we were going to draft 2 running back I wish we would have used pick 111 on Texas rb wright!!! Darn dolphins stole him. And of course Allen second. I like the guy we drafted just saying
They were probably going to give jfm the Lawson treatment, and put him on the bench for McDonald. Least we got something for him. He is underrated tho, especially since we never played with a lead!!
i understand why they drafted multiple RB's: running back by committee so as not to wear out Breece Hall. They would love ot have a power RB2 to complement Breece as the scatback type and a RB3 that can act as a fullback or as a short yardage /goal line specialist when necessary.Travis as QB #3 is interesting. He'll have plenty of time to run the practice squad and learn the offense. The rest of these guys are basically jabronis who most likely wont make the final roster.
Some of the comments on here are delusional. This draft class is not quite as poor as last year's, but still bang average. When you consider some of the overlooked picks/opportunities. There is some serious potential, but other than maybe Corley, I don't think we're getting players who are going to be a major impact season 1. Even Fashanu won't necessarily be a starter. Jets need to go well with players in free agency to bolster play off chances for this year. This draft indicates we're planning for the season after, with trading for an extra 3rd round etc. But ARod will be drawing his pension by then, leaving a massive hole to fill at QB.
I'm okay with JFM gone...needed to free up snaps for Reddick and JJ (who might have a better year than Reddick) and need to give McD snaps...plus, inside don't sleep on Soloman or Kinlaw/Fotu...those guys might have untapped potential, and Tanzel Smart, he's a baller, so didn't need JFM inside either. Save the money...I'm okay with it. 2025 draft- Edge (don't see Reddick returning), WR, CB 1-2-3 picks. DT or TE next. I was very uneasy with Izzy as RB2
Only had one good one. Braellen will be a fantastic pick. So young - tremendous upside and already more than worthy of a 4th IMO. And he compliments what we have beautifully. Agree the next RB not needed, and the next pick puzzling too. Made somewhat better by getting a really promising DT as UDFA.
Where did you find a 4.4 40 yard dash time on Braelon Allen? All I can find is that he didn’t run the 40 at the combine or his pro day. If he actually ran a 4.4 40 I’d feel great about the pick but I really do not see it on the tape
@@dumamayconcaaaaaac The problem with jet fans is they can't tell the different between what's possible and what's probable. You shouldn't just assume the best case scenario you should prepare for reality.
How can any trust Sleepy Joe's evaluation of talent? His M.O. has become to replace his bad draft picks with established veterans through trading away assets and spending money. Today he takes not one but TWO RBs, after drafting Izzy last year. Obviously he, once again, was wrong in his evaluation of a young player (Izzy) so in ONE YEAR he's already pushing Izzy to the side. Can this team get someone who knows how to evaluate young talent? Sleepy Joe has only proven he's solely capable of trading for draft picks and using assets (draft picks and money) to get established veterans.
@@Donaldl121 You fraud casual newbie fans need to go, just like when you disappeared once you were wrong about Trash Darnold and Bust Wilson. His pathetic record speaks for itself. You just made up that 50% nonsense just to support your unknowledgeable point. He's had ONE GOOD DRAFT OUT OF FOUR in his career. The real point you're making is that he's the least worst of all the awful GMs we have had. I wish I got paid millions to be bad at my job, but still have a job just cause I wasn't the worst.
