Wtching from Dominican Republic in 2020 I loved the doo wop

I can't listen anymore Larry's breaking my heart.

I first heard Larry and the original Earls in 1965 in the Riviera Lounge in Yonkers, NY. After Maestro, he was the greatest white lead singer I ever heard. When Larry had his throat problem, my group (Yesterdays News) participated in the benefit. This is hard to listen to.

Larry Chance had been treated for throat cancer awhile back. He said he got a clean bill then. I don't know what he was doing out there, but maybe he thought it would be his last performance. By the way, as for some good news Larry is 80 years old today ! He was born on 10/19/1940 . Happy Birthday Larry Figueiredo Chance!

Hope they come to Detroit someday!!! This group is AWESOME!!!
