Yes indeed it was a tricky wicket to play on this Saturday and the heat was blistering, but we soldiered on through as the 3XI played their Div 7 match against Worplesdon and Burpham CC.

At the 4:45 mark, that's 100% a throw. I've been watching a few of these village cricket channels, and the amount of chuckers is incredible. I know it's just village cricket. Here in Australia, that wouldn't be allowed in the unders 10s...what's next, sandpaper 😆😆😝 Love your work. Best on RU-vid

So things get complicated here. I'm sure you'll know. Firstly it needs the umpire to recognise it, or the batter to make a complaint before anything happens. With village cricket at this level, it's enough that the umpire will spot a no ball! Thank you so much for the kind words.

I was supposed to be playing for the 2s. The match was cancelled, so I said I'd be happy to commentate so more people can be involved. Heartening to know my playing was missed!😆
