Incredible tour from a lifetime fan! You were super knowledgeable about all the club lore and all the new renovations really elevate the experience. It truly is my second home.
Thank you so much for the kind feedback! I really enjoyed my visit at Red Bull Arena, and have been lucky enough to attend a couple of matches there. Thanks for stopping by & leaving a comment 🤝
That RED seat was originally in section 101… that was my season ticket spot until they upgraded the section to safe standing for the supporters in 2020. Easy to find! That seat was also dedicated to Mike Vallo longtime ESC Member who passed away in 2015 along with marking the 1st goal at RBA by Joel Lindpere. RBA is a wonderful stadium but it could be so much better if they developed and used the lower concourse more - perhaps a supporters bar under the South Ward. FUN FACT: the fastest goal in MLS was scored at RBA (7 seconds) by Mike Grella against the Philadelphia Union
2:27 - The red seats immediately behind the team benches are in Managers Row, not where players families sit. Families are spotted all over the stadium, with the wives and children usually in the club sections (108, 109 and 111) and in the boxes above the main club. A season ticket in Manager's Row costs about $10K.
13:18 - Santos played the Red Bulls on the inaugural game of the arena, but Neimar did not play. He was in attendance, came out onto the field and was introduced to the crowd.
It’s a beautiful stadium for sure. No doubt. But it’s too bad the Redbulls fan base don’t deserve it. Yeah probably their ownerships fault, but at the same time it’s embarrassing seeing it half empty all the time
Wait a minute. I saw along the wall of the inside of Red Bull Arena it mentions The Empire State. The stadium 🏟️ is not in New York City or New York State. It is physically located in the Town of Harrison, Hudson County, New Jersey. I will never go watch MSL soccer ⚽ while the team is referred to as the New York Red Bulls 🐂. It should be referred to as the New Jersey Red Bulls 🐂. Period.
They have a slogan that is "From the Empire State to the Garden State," which ties nicely with the history of the MetroStars and representing the metropolitan area. The "New York" in the name refers to the metropolitan area of New York, not the state nor New York City which NYCFC represents. The Red Bulls represent the whole metro as it's always been, which includes both states. Hope that helps!
