@5:46 there is a boy with a sign I wouldn't know how to interpret as he is not Iran if he is in America to live, really, Iranian American is easy to relate too. First of all I didn't know of the Iranian Americans having their own heritage parade outside their home country, it is unheard of here. I came across this posting by accident and watched it and was very surprise that such a small minority of people from a not to well liked country are staging their very own parade. I see it's in New York but still do the Philippinos, Russians, First Nations or Koreans here in Vancouver Canada have their very own parade?, no and yet we have thousands of Canadian Philippinos here, we have thousands here in Surrey too. Even though they are Catholic they still have no major events tied in with their culture. Like I said I'm surprised to have found out through this video that Iranian Americans are staging a parade like this here in America, I believe most of us that don't know different would agree and yes we do have a small community of Iranian Canadians here as we have many other countries of the middle east represented here but not as many in numbers. We do have more citizens here from Iran I do believe but no Parade and yes we do have several parades and the Vancouver Pride Parade is by far the largest followed by the Santa Clause parade. (thought you might be interested to know something about the west coast city of Vancouver Canada). I have to wonder why it's referred to as the Persian day parade, it sounds slang (Persian) and an old term for that part of the middle-east that was once known as the Persian domain/frontier. Is this parade limited only to those from the country of Iran or are other middle-east countries allowed to march in their native costumes and dress gear. I hope you can answer my questions as I filled you in on what gives in Canada's third largest city(3 million strong)/thanks4 posting this parade out of New York and what about Tehran having such a parade posted on RU-vid, I'll have to check out. now that I've seen this here parade. Persia???
