Always great to hear you Sophie. Your voice would lend itself perfectly to singing Sarah McLachlan's Angel. I can hear you singing it now. Happy New Year to you and your family. Kevin A ❤
Sophie, listened to this a few times, it's just not your ability to perform and play to perfection, it's the personal touch you give like at the end, Nice!. I did request a Blood, Sweat and Tears song, but how about an Amy Winehouse song? Your favorite Anaheim, CA the Grove fan, with my Sophie button - Gib. Smile as you make everyone else do.
I sailed on Liberty of the seas last February, and requested this song. I was traveling with a couple old friends from New York. You really nailed it then, as you did in this video. Thanks for preforming for us then, and posting this now. 👍🙂
@@SophieWorsley when you are in NYC hit the Bitter End on Bleeker street .. Legendary venue always great music on any night..I’ve played there many times! You should book a solo gig there while you are in town ..
Hi Sophie. I saw you this year with Rumours in Champaign, Il. You and Jess sounded incredible. I had a nice seat right in front of you that I was so happy with. I really hope you tour the US again next year. I am not surprised at how good this sounds. Your voice is so beautiful and you are a fantastic player. How about some early Elton John or God Only Knows by the Beach Boys?
Absolutely! Love God Only Knows. I previously covered it and then put it on private hahaha! Yes to Elton! Loved that Illinois gig! See you in the states on the tour 2024! Thank you for your lovely comment xx
Hi Sophie. Seen you in Rockford Illinois, absolutely the best concert I have ever attended. You have a great future ahead of you. Thank You and God Bless You..... Beautiful!..... Jeff Thompson Rockford, Ilinois
I really enjoyed seeing you at The Smith Center in Vegas! How about covering the Beatle's Now and Then. Jess did a great cover earlier and would love to hear your take on it.
This was fantastic! Hope to see lots more of these. I'm the Springsteen fan from Pennsylvania. Would love to see a video of you playing Dancing in the Dark like you played on the Oasis. I also think you would do an amazing version of Drive All Night. That would probably be too long and slow for a piano bar, but it would be wonderful here.
Beautiful performance as always Sophie! Happy New Year and hope you enjoy NY. I’d love to hear you do “Hey Bulldog” by the Beatles … cut your rocker side loose!😎
@@SophieWorsley Thank you for replying and a Happy New Year ❤️ I really think if anyone could do it justice it would be you, I was in awe when I saw you with rumours in Cambridge doing Christine's solos. Would love to see you add a level of aggression to the vocals and just go for it. Maybe a song to do if you're ever having a bad day then really put yourself out of your comfort zone and just sing with all your heart.
It’s funny cause I never listened to that song as much as his others… but he opened with it at MSG last week and I fell in love with it so have been listening to it non stop…. Might just take you up on that one!!!!
@@SophieWorsley me too! until my lead singer suggested it. been playing it for years now in my band! the riffs are a tad over my keys level, but i doodle through it 👌🏻🤣.
@@SophieWorsley hope to see you this year in ny with rumours again. FYI, the rumours youtube channel hasn't added any new videos in 4 months. Especially none with you. What's the deal?
Sophie I love your rendition of 'New York State of Mind..so beautiful 🎹💕 I'd like to make a request for 'Let It Be or 'Bennie n The Jets or 'Sweet Caroline 😆👍 I've been a big fan since I saw you n RoFM for the first time in Cincinnati this last October!Happy '2024🎉❤
Nice job Sophie. Would love to hear a Kacey Musgrave song or something from Brandy Clark. You guys rocked the State Theater in Easton. It was nice to meet you all.
Love that Sophie, i will be there in birmingham next time you come here, ,take a listen to "one more night" by Tony luke i would love to hear hear you do a cover, i reckon you would really do it justice
Hey! I love Birmingham and have some great friends there! Symphony hall is possibly my favourite venue of all time! Hopefully meet you soon! Great song. Thanks! X
@SophieWorsley hi Sophie, thanks for the reply. I just wanted to say sorry for the jumbled message, i should have checked it before posting, I've corrected it now, and I'm looking forward to seeing you next year, ❤️
Aww thank you Helen! I hope you are well. I actually recorded overjoyed a few years ago but it’s on private now as it’s definitely not my best attempt 😂! Absolutely love the melody! Xx
Thank you for the fantastic cover as always! I personally really like your cover of "When she loved me" and your song "After Wine". I don't know why you deleted them but I hope you sing them again.
Simply gorgeous. This may seem like a strange request but how about 'return to pooh corner' by Kenny Loggins. Somehow, I can just hear your beautiful voice singing that.
Really good Sophie, you are certainly very talented- stay with it great things will happen for you it’s inevitable with that kind of talent…how about Listen to your heart - by Roxette 👍
Omg hi! I remember you sang Valerie (amy winehouse i think) on liberty of the seas last year, could you sing that song? i literally cant find a cover that was as good as yours !!!!
I'll see you at dinner tomorrow night. (ask Eric) My favorite on Blue is River, but my favorite albums are Court & Spark and Hejira. The tribute they did back in June was a wonderful tribute to her. I was lucky to see her in NYC in the early 70's at The Fillmore East, Carnegie Hall, and Forest Hills. @@SophieWorsley
hi do you have permission to cover this song? I know someone who go a strike for covering hotel California. A lot of singers on here never check if they are ok to cover a song.
Sophie, I knew you would perform this song! I hope you have a great brief time back home before you go back to New York City. Should you be anywhere near Times Square then, I suggest you be mindful and stay calm. It is always busy there around New Year's and tomorrow and Monday will be no exception. Also, Rita Ora will be there, so you can say hi to her if you want. I am willing to go anywhere to see Rumours of Fleetwood Mac between Seattle and Vancouver BC. However, I do not want to go to Spokane or Eastern Washington to see them. It would take me twice as long to get there as it would to anywhere in Western Washington. So, if your band is Western Washington bound next year, I'll be sure ro see them. Remember, your band was in Seattle in 2021 and early 2022 before you joined. They were at a performance venue called the Neptune Theater, in the district of the University of Washington, not far from my old neighborhood. I sent you a huge list of songs scattered around your videos you posted during the pandemic, which is now private. You can refer to that list if you have time to perform any of these songs, and I'll be pleasantly surprised if you do. Great job there, and I will always enjoy seeing and hearing you perform in any capacity, whether it be with Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, on a cruise ship, or solo. Safe travels for Monday, Sweetie!
@@SophieWorsley, though preparing for the new year has caused a lot of anxiety for me, I have been trying to be mindful, stay calm, and give credit where credit is due. There's no time like the present to do that. Things do happen, and although we can't change everything, we can make the best of it. Doing that improves our self esteem.
@@SophieWorsley yeah it's one those one's that slowly grows on you. I have just been learning the chords on my guitar, quite simple chords. You have the Voice and Piano skills to knock it of the Park Sophie. 😎
