i took the exam in March, I received an email stating 3 weeks after Aprils 30th and contestants will be informed if they are selected based on their exam scores, I hope I'm selected since its my dream job and see you guys there!
Your 2024 New York State Police Trooper Examination results will be posted in the near future. The Physical Ability Test (PAT) will be administered next month. Please reference your email for a few short videos which will show how the PAT is proctored and the 50th percentile physical fitness requirement you must meet in order to move on in the hiring process.
I got the email also. I took the trooper exam last year but didn’t go to the processing because I’m still in college and trying to finish. The processing for the 2024 test (which sounds like it is in April or may) is a weekend at the academy in Albany. Day one is the physical test. Make sure if you don’t workout start doing push-ups sit-ups and run. On the website there is list on how many push-ups, sit-ups and how fast you need to do the run based on your age. If you pass the PAT (which about half or more then half fail) then you are invited to day to of the processing which is the Sunday of that weekend. Day 2 they will get your transcripts and any other documents. They will also drug test you, vision test, hearing test and a brief psych evaluation. After that day they will tell you what you have to do to go further into the process.
@@abdullahidrees2284 I think they sent that email out to everyone that took the test. The results will be coming out I think either the end of this week or next week. Everyone that passes the test (passing is a 70) will get invited to processing. The number of applicants has been down so much the last few years and they are about 1000-1200 troopers short. Also if you pass and get called for processing you would have to go up to the academy in Albany NY for the processing weekend. Hope this information helps you out.
@@MAGMALORD360 well you have to do how ever many based off of you gender and age within a minute. It’s pretty quick you basically have to do all of them continuously without stopping and you have to go at a pretty quick pace.
What is required in the 50th is needed to pass the test into academy but the 70th is what is required to achieve upon graduation of the academy. The test is given again before one can graduate
