Never be ashamed of a scar; it only means you were stronger than whatever tried to destroy you.

It's like a soldier taking a beating during war, which is fitting because it stood next to a site that started war

Fun fact: Koenig, (the artist who made the sphere) was asked to fix it, but denied that, saying he would fix it when the world is at peace again. It’s original meaning was peace through trade.

Great video! Its interesting that the sphere has been moved to different places over time, and that people were able to recover it during 9/11

Si la verdad diamond es muy diferente. Además en 1997 está la esfera bien sanito en las Torres gemelas. Y después en 2001 tiene un agujero en la esfera. Y no se porque

Which Gives EVEN GREATER MEANING and IMPORTANCE To Ultimately Bring the SPHERE BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL POSITION !! YES Cutting in Greenwich St. As a Memorial Fountain will be The Ultimate Resting Position Next to the POOLS And would give A Greater Comprehension to just How the Complex was and How Big 😌

The best video I've seen for the history behind the Sphere... The transitions were great. Congratulations for taking us back to past glory of the WTC...

I think it worked better in Battery Park. In its current location it's rather overshadowed by the surrounding architecture.

Nah, having it be closer to it’s original resting place feels more impactful. It’s by another survivor of 9/11. The south bridge

i have this weird idea bout recreating the twin towers but without half of the top floors then add a memorial on top and for the north tower add the antenna inside it then make the new one world trade

Great video 👏 it represents a symbol of a era gone. I saw it back in 2014 when it was in Battery Park. So glad they kept it and it wasn’t destroyed at fresh kills.

You might be able to do Norwich Cathedral through time because St. Paul’s Cathedral had some good early images so maybe it has it too? I’m not too sure though but maybe
@JamesFoxTimeTravelArtist
@JamesFoxTimeTravelArtist 3 года назад
I have considered Norwich Cathedral but most angles prominently feature the cathedral and nothing else which wouldn't be very interesting for the viewer sadly. There is a view overlooking the city that I would love to try if I can source enough images.

Near to a sundown in November 1999, I felt the overwhelming negative energy of the plaza between the two towers as I stared at the sphere perched above the black rock with the glittering golden specks being covered with the fountain's flowing water. There were many colorful flowers all around the circular area but it was sad, sad, and sad ! The thought occurred to me that the sphere seemed like a nuclear bomb 🤯 !
