Freeroam test drive from New York to Miami at The Crew 2 with Logitech g29 steering wheel on Volkswagen Beetle. PC Specification: (DESKTOP) Processor : Ryzen 7 2700X GPU : RTX 2070 8GB RAM : Corsair 16GB DDR4
VW BETTLE of Crew 2: 330km/h with the blink of an eye VW BETTLE on reality: 120km/h and you´re feeling every single atom on your body vibrating insanely
As a real-life Beetle owner, I was thinking "Damn, I forgot what a stock Beetle actually sounds like, almost all the ones I see have aftermarket mufflers ... He's really short shifting it, that's not good for it ... that's a very tall-geared transaxle, never heard of any like that in reality ... must have a big-bore kit or stroker crank to have enough torque for that ... THAT'S NOT A BUG'S ICONIC HORN!!! ... those windshield wipers are backwards ... 361km/h? Don't care what engine you got, that Beetle will become airborne at that speed!"
If there's one thing the old air cooled VWs needed it was a 5th gear for highway cruising. I drove my '64 Beetle (1641) between Phoenix and Tucson a couple times. At 70-ish mph that little motor was screaming and things started feeling a little spooky. 😄
@Blitzen Stock brakes, absolutely. Why they didn't put discs on the later model US spec ones like they did elsewhere is a big mystery, they're not really safe with drums all around. I daily an old Bug, it has discs all around and stops very quickly. Decided I needed the front after discovering the stock drums work even less (meaning not at all) after driving through a puddle. Later did the rears because I got a good deal on a set.
I was looking for some GTS meets Forza type game to play on PC and came across this game. Played the demo and... Althought its not horrible, it just... Soulless. If its about going around the game's open world... I already have Watch Dogs 2, GTAV and so. Sure, nowhere near as big as TC2... And these are not "racing games", so there's little resembling any driving physics... But I can atleast do crash and wreck cars. And if I get tired of doing stupid things... I just get off the car and actually play the game. The Crew cars dont even break and pretty much bounce off walls. And I also think I noticed one thing that Im not sure if its true or coincidence, but the AI would actually slow down whenever I did. If this turns out to be a legit thing... then the game is just straight up bullshit.
I’m not a Gamer, But, This is one Game I’d Love To Play !!!! I’ve owned a 63 Beetle, a 72 SuperBeelte, a 69 Beelte a 1974 VW Kombi Camper Van, and I currently own a 2003 beetle !!! 🌊🐺
Actually the PS3 game Fuel had the biggest map length of any game including the current gen console generation. (I may be wrong it's been awhile) but I think it's like 10,000 square miles?
@@raithendk4980 yes... sorry my bad for not watching all 40 min ov a shitty driving game and my appologies for making a snarkey comment about how much time he wasted.. i mean she. and you too have joined the list ov wasting time but thanks again for the input. you are a good person
Hm maybe you should do something cool and then u have a different perspektiv and suddenly u have the idea for a cool job, i a played for voice speaker today
@@lilbuzzz4915 Keep calm bro, I will not curse you, I do not give these, but I am 14 years old and I live in Brazil, I am even using the translator to comment, and here in Brazil at 14 you can’t work; -;
@@CenturionKZ no, hehe. Rightorleft doesn't matter in stick shift, apparently. It's coz he shifts too early or out of shift timing. In reality, your car will stall, choke, shake, or have that grinding sound.
The thoughts that came to me when I saw this car in the first seconds, in this video: -Car doors that slammed on the second attempt - Doors that creaked because the hinges were rusty --Old, sagging driver's seat - The glass opens with "twists" -Transmission that switches terribly, *sound looks funny "The engine sounds like an old grandfather's clunker - Infernal power -- Fuel that does not have time to burn in the cylinders, flies out and explodes in the pipe -Very soft suspension that swings this "death capsule" on every bump
I was just saying that in my head. I hear that sound in forza when u change gears without using the clutch. It does not sound good at all. Idk if its him or the game doesnt do it right.
The game is not good at all, totally unrealistic. I wouldn’t recommend. However, his set up is the Logitech G29, I got one a couple of months ago. I got it on sale for $300, it’s normally $400 though. It comes with the wheel and the pedals. However, the shifter is sold separate. It’s probably like 60 bucks or something. It’s also from Logitech.
CRAPO2011 I don’t play on PC, but Forza Horizon 4 is a really good game. It’s an open world game set in The UK and you race with others. iRacing is also very good if u just want to go racing against others. And if you ever want to get a PS4, Gran Turismo Sport is a really good game to race on.
Yeah, that was an amazingly tall-geared transaxle. He was lugging it the whole time, those engines don't like running that slow. Must have been extremely high torque, some sort of big-bore stroker, one of those crazy almost three liter jobs. As this looks and even sounds (aside from the horn swiped off a modern car, a true sin against Beetle-kind to not have the stock horn) like a stock Beetle, this is one hell of a sleeper!
its a common fault with Bugs from that era....they installed the gearing from the wrong parts bin and ended up with a car that gave nightmares to Supercar owners....apparently Herbie the Love bug came about because the writer once had a ride in one of such machine 😉😉😉
Damn i gotta say they fuckin nailed the soubd design. I drive an aircooled beetle myself and i gotta say i never played anither game that got this close to the right engine sound.
I just played the demo of this game and I remember that I didn't like it, but I saw potential, a pity that this game is still bad, the lack of attention to detail is so great: the steering wheel doesn't move, the mirrors don't work, traffic lights don't work, tunnels get wet, etc. clearly this game was too ambitious, they should have done it like the test drive unlimited, and make an island on a 1: 1 scale.
tu é louco, o fusca anda mais que lamborghini kkkkk entrei achando que ia ver um cara andando com um fusca e sofrendo, ficando bravo por ter que freiar, mas o cara baixa a terceira e em 2 segundos tá a 300 km/h
i have the G29 and been thinking about getting the shifter. Is it really that good? right now i just use the paddle shifters in Forza. my favorite car in Forza is the "63 beetle max upgrades. i have a video just having a ball with it :D I love driving real manuals and I drive a 6sp manual 2015 Sonic RS
I have a clutch pedal, and it's not very realistic. BeamNG is the closest to real right now. You may actually be able to learn to drive with BeamNG but not this game.
