Judge is on an entirely different level ever since May 4th. That umpire unleashed the monster and I couldn’t be any more thankful. Judge has gone full Darth Vader mode! 🔥

Miller knows that Soto knows the strike zone. Soto wasn't disrespectful so he was willing to hear him out. If this would have been a strikeout hitter or some regular player he would have been ejected.

It wasn't even about the strike zone, it was about the length of Soto's time out. If he had been arguing balls and strikes for that long he would've been gone.

Soto was respectful at all times that's why neither Judge nor Boone drag him out to avoid ejection.

I would probably just intentionally walk Soto every time, even with the bases empty, even with the bases loaded🤣 when he's locked in, it seems like the best case scenario is a 10 pitch walk. No thanks. I'll just take the direct route and give you first base, I'm not gonna waste 10 pitches.

I agree! That is increasingly a lost art of hitting. The hiitter's box is long. If the pitcher is a breaking ball specialist, then stand at the top of the box closer to the pitcher! Hit the ball as it breaks. Don't stand at the bottom of the break.

@@makatronVolpe deserves all the credit in the world for the work he put in this off-season, he already had the speed, power, and glove, that was clear last year, he just needed to work on his patience and making more consistent contact. And he did exactly that, the improvements are pretty dramatic. He's still young, he's only going to get better. He could be a perennial batting title contender.

@@makatron absolutely. And if we're being fair, batting ahead of Soto and Judge is the most fortunate lineup position that anyone in baseball has. Volpe is gonna see a boatload of good pitches this year. But that doesn't take anything away from the work he's put in. He's kinda starting to remind me of young Altuve.

bruh when judges bat gets hot he stays hot for so long...and imo a hot locked in judge is the most dangerous hitter in the MLB the combo of hitting for avg and power is lost in todays game.. not too mention gold glove caliber defense with a canon arm.
