I am a Native American Apache (Chiricahua/Mescalero). Seeing the Beautiful Artwork sent to Denzel & Atlanta brought a tear to my eye. Bruce must have a great liking to your children? The amount of work that went into those pieces is extreme! Each one of those would sell for $200-$400 dollars U.S. That goes to show how much you guys are loved! A’HO! I live in Joshua Tree next to the Morongo Indian reservation. I hope you are taking advantage of the money now from the Casinos, gambling sounds bad, but your people deserve the money it brings in. I think I am part Native American from what my ancestors diaries say but so far my DNA is only pointing towards Inuit Eskimos. I am also Scandinavian so that would make sense before they went over the Bearing Straight to the Americas during the ice age.

Cracker Jacks is a very old candy around the late 1800's. It was big at baseball games and included in the song written in 1909. Here's part of the lyrics: Take me out to the ballgame, Take me out with the crowd Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks I don't care if I never get back, Let me root, root, root for the home team, If they don't win it's a shame 'Cause it's one, two, three strikes your out At the old ball game So nice of you Bruce to send those terrific homemade gifts!

Chewy Whoppers are usually a sign that they have gone stale. The inside should be chalky, not chewy. If you bite one in half the center should disolve. You may have left those sitting around a bit too long and as the milk duds indicate the temperature may have been a bit rough on it as well. And yes, Almond Joy and Mounds are made by the same company. Often advertised together. Because "sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. Almond Joy has nuts... Mounds Don't."

They really were. I'm from Bristol Bay Alaska, home of the Yupik people. I've been wanting to send them some Alaska Native specialties, but most wouldn't handle the trip. I could send them some canned salmon and moose, but it looks rather unappetizing just in the jar and would need to be prepared for eating. Our clothing items are a bit too warm for their climate. LOL Plus, I'm not sure how they would feel about fur.

Actually the old jingle for their commercials because the company that made them is called Peter Paul went like this. "Peter Paul Almond Joy's got nuts, Peter Paul Mounds don't, Sometimes you feel like a nut and sometimes you don't." The only difference between a Mounds bar and an Almond Joy is the almond so I am not sure why they liked the Mounds so much more than the Almond Joy except that maybe as a result of travel time in international post maybe the Almond Joy were closer to their expiration date?

"Take me out to the ball game, Take me out with the crowd; Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks; I don't care if I never get back. Let me root, root, root for the home team; If they don't win, it's a shame. For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out; At the old ball game." Cracker Jacks have been synonymous with baseball forever. This song is always sung during the 7th inning stretch (middle of the 7th inning). The original song was written in 1908.

I'm so glad that there is some representation of our indigenous people, the Native Americans. Their leathercrafting and beadwork are the best in the world. Their culture is interesting and teaches respect for the land and all of nature. At one time in North America, there were 500 nations of Native people. I was so blessed to have Native people in my life. My roommate at boarding school was an Oneida Indian. And when my husband was in the Army, he recruited out of Pine Ridge and the Rosebud Reservations in South Dakota which have the largest concentration of Lakota and Oglala Sioux people in the U.S. I wish more Americans had the privilege of knowing this country's greatest treasure.

❤️ The gifts that Bruce made for Atlanta and Denzel are just beautiful. Gorgeous materials and so much incredible detail work. What loving gifts to give to the children 🥰. Fun video, you all can be hilarious. When I was a child my favorite go to candy to buy at a theater were Milk Duds-best bang for the buck.

The satchel and the wall hanging look like they were made out of white tail deer hide. What a great, thoughtful gift. At one point in America’s history, the white tail deer was THE staple meat that most people survived on.

Be careful with the Cracker Jacks! They used to have a small toy in each box so be careful taking the food out of the box and not eat one of the tiny toys! Check to see if the tiny toys are still put in each box.

Almond Joy and Mounds are made by the same company. There slogan is " sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. Almond Joy's got nuts, Mounds Don't." Also, Almond Joy is made with milk chocolate and Mounds is dark chocolate.

Original Mounds are made with milk chocolate but they now have a dark chocolate variety available. I'm a long-time fan of Mounds and of dark chocolate. They only way I'd eat an Almond Joy is if I bit off the almond & spit it out, lol.

Back in the day, when Cracker Jack's came out, there use to be really cool prizes inside the boxes. Different toys, maybe a piece of jewelry, and other fun stuff. Now a days it usually just a sticker or a temporary tattoo. This is also feature in the song "Take me out to ballgame."

Growing up in the '60s, when going out to see a movie, I would order a popcorn and Milk Duds. I opened up the box and poured them over my popcorn and enjoyed the movie. The Milk Duds would sink to the bottom and sometimes the chocolate would melt a bit from the warm popcorn. Thanks for Memory.
