Hey Uncle Lee, I went on a similar cruise to NZ on the Royal Caribbean Ovation 2 months ago. On the day we cruised to Dusky Sound/Doubtful Sound/Milford Sound we had Picture Perfect Blue Sky weather and no wind so I thank our heaven's blessings.
Hi Uncle, New Zealand seafood is high quality and very reasonably priced. I actually find the seafood more affordable than M’sia. I hope you can buy some nice frozen fish, abalone, and green mussels. I highly recommend! My grandfather was from New Zealand. My mother is Nyonya from Malacca. Happy jalan jalan cari makan🤤
Yes I agree NZ seafood is very fresh and high quality! Didn’t buy any seafood back to MY because we still on the cruise and no place to keep it frozen. Also stayed in Sydney for few more days when cruise ended before flying home. 🏠 Thanks for watching. 🙏
Thank u, Uncle Lee. I like Milford cos the view is very breathtaking and amazing. How come this video u are not drinking Americano but tea?? Abit unusual of u leh haha.
@@UncleLeeAdventures Uncle Lee, according to you, when booking a Balcony Room, will there be any advantageous on the port side OR the starboard side to view the fjords (if watching the fjords privately from the room's balcony), depending on whether the ship sails from south to north (will see the fjords first before heading to other ports) or from north to south (will visit all ports first before viewing fjords)?
Uncle Lee, Sorry that you struck a dark cloudy gloomy day and high winds at all the 3 Sounds. It would be amazing when there is sunshine and blue skies. You will need to come back and visit around Jan/Feb for warmer sunny weather. I am filling in the missing ??? Subtitle words for the commentary - “…in the UNDERSTORY of these beautiful temperate rainforests…” and “…like the crown SILVER fern with lots of mosses and LICHEN”. ‘After the now extinct Piopio which is the native THRUSH species…” The black rice is squid ink Paella, ie Spanish seafood pan steamed with Arborio rice.
