New Zealanders take over guard duties from Australians 

Leaving Empire House, a detachment of the New Zealand Cavalry Regiment marched past the Commander Officer British Commonwealth Sub Area, Tokyo (BRICOSAT), Lieutenant Colonel D T Maxwell, on their way to relieve the Australian Guard. The changing of the Guard at the British Embassy was watched by the British Consul, Mr A D F Gascoigne CMG.
