You're right, but I wouldn't necessarily count it because it doesn't have the same feel. It doesn't even feel like a "conventional" quest log in general videogames not just Zelda. Botw felt more like a conventional quest log, not that, that was a bad thing.
@@javiervasquez625 I just said it as an extra fact Side note you just made two comments for two separate videos against me in less than 10 minutes. I don't mean to be angry, I just find it funny
@@joopvanhedel1372 It's alright, i was simply pointing it out. Side note: I know lol, i'm currently replying like crazy to many people across multiple videos so i can barely focus on who i'm responding to at the moment of writing.
It annoys me how some "fans" are hating on this game when they were all saying they wanted a brand new top-down Zelda. We got it, and now a lot of people are complaining! It's like make up your minds people. Thank you so much ZM for your positive take on the game! Also, I can't believe that I actually predicted changing outfits in this game. I brought this up during a conversation I had with LoruleanHistorian, but I didn't think it would actually come true!
Yea I kinda see that too but I've never wanted a Zelda type Zelda game because I've always thought they wouldn't put as much effort into Zelda as a playable character than they did for link. Like the combat system. It is good to shake up the story a bit though and I respect them for taking this risk.
@ganonfan People wanted a more traditional Zelda game, and thought a 2D game would be more likely to be more traditional while 3D games would continue with the BotW/TotK. However, this game proves that now even 2D Zelda games are going the BotW/TotK route.
@ZeldaMaster: It's really wonderful to see you again and this game looks very fun to play. I'm just wondering how it's going to stack up to some of the ones you've already beaten. I'm also wondering... What's going on with your *ZelDudes* stuff right now? I asked you this question because it's been awhile since we've seen you guys or heard anything about you.... ~ JonseyG 👲💖
SO hyped for Echoes of Wisdom. September can't come soon enough. I have had the game on preorder for awhile. Also Luke, do you plan to play Echoes of Wisdom as a blind playthrough when it releases or make it a walkthrough like you other Zelda playthroughs? Also, I wanna say Majora's Mask (specifically the 3DS version) started the whole quest log with the bomber's notebook? Right?
@@RengawSnave gotcha. I knew the N64 version used it, I just thought the 3DS version started the quest log thing since you can't view the bombers notebook in the N64 version, least I don't think you could.
@@masteraustin11 you can. I think you just hover over the note book in the n64 version and click A. It's the one iplayed first and I nearly 100% it so I know a lot about that version. But it has been a like 5 or 6 years since I played it.
I appreciate the Zelda content is a little frustrating that you want do content on echoes of wisdom and probably a play-through but you didn’t finish TOTK or Age of Calamity just my opinion some of us need your help to beat the game or 100% it as of right now I’m playing Links awakening the switch port, keep up the good work.
I'm so looking forward to this game! I've already pre-ordered the game! I would absolutely love to see a remake of a link to the past in the same diorama (if I'm pronouncing it correctly) art style!
Is Bind and by correlation Tri related in any way to the Zonai? Like, we know that Zelda has some part of Zonai blood because of Rauru and Sonia. And now we have this ability that Rauru had with the SAME type of aura that Zonai devices have. Buuuut hey, that's work for a retired RU-vidr.
Maybe Tri is part Zonai? Could be that they are going through an Ezlo arc after they were transformed into its fairy-like shape and need to defeat the main villain to undoe their transformation.
Hey Luke, I know you got a life and don’t wanna spend it on totk but I was just wondering if you were going to ever finish it, totally get not wanting to spend hours on the same stuff but I used to like comparing how you and I beat puzzles. i’m glad to see your all good and positive. Keep it up 👏👏
Thelda developers have one of the best game designers and level designers on the planet. Every game just: Link, Zelda, Hyrule but gameplay never ceases to amaze
I’m so excited for this game the new mechanics look amazing and all of the different races and locations look phenomenal even though it’s not a main line zelda game I’m still super excited for this one it looks so promising
I off Nintendo, after purchasing TOTK (a $70 DLC at best). During the Pandemic, I began watching other gamers and discovered God of War, Little Nightmares, Last of Us, Soul Reaver, Red Dead 2. Seeing such hardware is wonderful. I look forward to your play through.
I don’t know when exactly but I do plan on getting this game at some point because it very different from other Zelda games and it looks to be challenging and fun at the same time. I will look forward to getting it someday when I am able to. 😊👍🏼
@@Light23K Considering BotW and TotK are a drastic departure from what every Zelda game was before, "true Zelda fans" would prefer the classic Zeldas over BotW/TotK. Nowadays a lot of the BotW/TotK fanbase are actually BotW/TotK fans, but not really Zelda fans.
@@hist150project5 sales speaks volumes. The last Zelda game sold 3.5m and that’s not cutting it anymore. Zelda’s fan base was getting smaller by every release. If people aren’t interested in the old formula wouldn’t you think it’s a good thing that Nintendo changed it? Or would you rather keep going down the same path and into Metroid territory? Sometimes you just need to open your mind and accept that the industry has changed and appetites are different now. I love dungeons as much as the next guy but you need to enjoy the game for what it is and not for what it isn’t. If you can do that then you’re a true Zelda fan and not a Zelda fans who’s stuck in the past and unwilling to accept the future of the series.
@@Light23K You mention Metroid. Do you think it would be a good thing if the Metroid series completely abandoned te metroidvania aspect that defined the series and just played like a typical shooter instead to get more sales? It would technically "save" the metroid series and make it more popular, but it wouldn't really be metroid anymore, would it? It's the same deal with Zelda. BotW and TotK made the series much more popular, but they are hardly "Zelda" anymore as they have pretty much nothing in common with the old games except the names and characters. Really what happened is no different from if they killed the Zelda series outright, and then created a new series that way outsold the old series. In this scenario, would you consider it a good thing that they got rid of a series that wasn't selling that well and replaced it with a new series that is super popular? Also, if sales was all that game developers should care about, then we'd be getting nothing but Fortnite/Battle Royale clones.
Ok I just wanna know if I can scan y wolf link Amiibo and get a cute wolf link Puppy in this game lol. I was disappointed at tears of the kingdom lol. I also hope Epona is actually in the game as a quest or something and not a scannable Amiibo thing. I'm surprising my Mom be pre ordering it and typically I NEVER pre order a video game but that's how high my hopes are for this. Finally this will truly be The Legend OF ZELDA. like can we just address that for a second like this is HUGE.
Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom both had rock roasts. The Rock Roasts in Wild and non-marbled (ordinary) rock roasts in Tears look the same to me.
How about just saying "top-down" (or isometric) without the "2D". Other than the 3d models, she's jumping off and scaling up cliffs, it's quite 3 dimensional.
I don’t know if I will get that new Zelda game but I haven’t completed Tears of the Kingdom yet. Can you also get back to the TOTK Walkthrough videos please? I know you stopped at Part 21
@@hist150project5 says the statistics Breath of the Wild is the Best selling Zelda game that introduced many new players into the franchise. Why would Nintendo stop and pull an uno reverse card and go back to old tradition Zelda? I’m happy with moving forward with Zelda becoming bigger and many new players catching their eyes on the series
@@Linkanator-xn6og Who cares about sales? Do you know what would get the Zelda series even more sales? If they turned the series into a Battle Royale game like Fortnite. Would that change be a good thing because it would make more people get into the series? The fact that more people are into the series doesn't really mean anything when it really isn't the same series anymore. What really effectively happened is that they killed an old series and created a new franchise in 2017 which greatly outsold the original series. Look at Metroid. Metroid is known for not selling too high. Do you think it would be a good thing if the next Metroid game completely gets rid of the Metroidvania gameplay that defines the series and just plays like a typical shooter instead, which causes the game to greatly outsell all the old Metroid games and make the Metroid series extremely popular?
@@hist150project5 “who’s cares about sells?” Uhhhh Nintendo obviously. Eiji Aonuma even says before showing off the very first teaser of Breath of the Wild talking about they ALWAYS wanted to give the players freedom and to do whatever they want basically, no linear path, that’s exactly what the first Zelda game was about but they couldn’t do that anymore because of the hardware. Noooooooow if you even listen to what they say, they can finally do that with the switch and that’s why Breath of the Wild is that game that it is. Zelda games were always suppose to be like Breath of the Wild but all of yall got so used to having limitations they y’all forgot the true goal Nintendo was going for Zelda games. Y’all are stuck in the past and can’t even at least change for the future of the franchise. Bringing up Fortnite is such a dumb example to use on Zelda. Fortnite is a free to play game that’s online and with lots of cosmetics and emotes While Zelda is a single player game🙄 How about you just compare it to GTA or Red Dead Redemption that are very BIG popular single player games, but of course GTA has grown to be more online but it still counts
@hist150project5 bruh lmao ur living in the past 😂😂😂 grow tf up 😂😂😂😂 obvi u ain't a fan if u dont like change lol The franchise is doing good but u wanna go back to the past where it wasn't that big like it is now 😂😂😂😂😂
