Not an appropriate representation of Newa dance; did not capture the basic elements of the dance style such as the body language, or use of traditional pattern of dance moves Newa dancing/culture is known for. Appreciate the incorporation of the contemporary moves trying to make it a fusion style, however, adding them with this style, and with this costume only distorted the overall outlook of the presentation; The movements could have been more clean and sharp, also taking into consideration the use of the song (this song is an upbeat track with its constant underlying beats). I hope more people understand that we can provide justice to cultural/ethnic dances by keeping them as they are, (at their most raw form as possible) and not necessarily trying to convince they need extra elements to make it any more appealing or fancier that it loses its essence and the very meaning of what the dance style stands for.
