Newark Liberty Airport is an international airport in New Jersey, US. Located about 4.5 miles south of downtown Newark and 9 miles west-southwest of Manhattan in New York City, it is a major gateway to points in Europe, South America, Asia, and Oceania.
It is the second-busiest airport in the New York airport system behind John F. Kennedy International Airport but far ahead of LaGuardia Airport.
