This is great even for older players, there's such a lack of diamond guides. I've been playing since ~early 2020 and I've mostly been using diamonds for just the TE cards in store, summon stones, heroes choice pulls and stargazing; I have not really utilized the refreshes for bounties, shop, or fast rewards unless they were free for an event. I'm honestly surprised I've kept up with other f2p vets as long as I have considering I haven't been playing the most optimally. With that being said my RC is especially behind for my playtime I think, but that's because halfway through I decided I enjoyed pushing high level deficits in campaign and occasionally uploading my formations to AFK Naxis whenever I would use formations that I felt were different enough from other players for the stage or I did it at a greater deficit than the majority/those that have uploaded so other players know that the deficit is possible if they're low leveled. Edit: currently at 41-48 at RC level 420 in case anyone was curious. There are player who are pushing higher deficits, but they're mostly whales, have got more luck with summons, or just simply have a greater understanding of the games mechanics and formation theory than I do.
For a majority of players, you "can" start stargazing early, but it is not a huge game changer as your primary four factions will be much higher than most and you still farmed a good number of cards from the towers.
I know with no wishlist, back then we had no signature items, no furniture, no engraving, no beasts... and only Dura's artifacts. Such a simple time! I remember the SI slot was "coming soon" lol and no Tier gear!
Such useful info. My question is, I have so many more heroes I'd like to build up more (Say Damion, Silas, Palmer, Rosaline...) but I am lacking greatly in hypo and celestial heroes so I cant decide whether to go for 10 pulls in the tavern or start saving more for stargazing. I have 6 ascended heroes; Tamrus, Nevanthi, Rowan, Peanut, Lyca and Grez but my absolute highest level cele/hypo is Haelus with just being legendary. Stargazer heroes just seem so super expensive to me even though I really have my eyes set on Lucretia to carry me in campaign and tower for hypos and Veithael to carry me in essentially everything besides campaign but not sure how to go about all this as a f2p player
Keep getting the primary four faction heroes and when you start getting the stargazer scrolls out of the faction towers then focus on the SG for a bit.
I’m such a hoarder .. I don’t reset for anything .. as a. Free to play person doing them feels wrong even if it’s best , I only do the one free fast rewards and I’m in chapter 43
Hey, thanks for the video. I juste have one question, as a complete noob (I’m chapter 9 with Daimon E+ as a carry, and I started to garrison Rem, my heroes are ~lvl 100). From what I gathered in your video, and please tell me if I’m wrong : I should use the 10x summons until a certain point, and not worry about anything else (I haven’t even unlocked the stargazer yet). To be honest I’ve been hearing that early players should use 10x summons with diamonds up until a certain point but I have never understood what that point is. I’ve heard “until you have 5 ascended heroes of each faction”, and in this video you mention “3 heroes”. But does this mean that I should actually have, for every faction, 5 heroes ascended to the white border tier (the one above mythic+) or does it just mean: for each faction, get 1 epic copy of 5 heroes that are of the ascended-tier, and I’ll worry about ascending them later ? My heroes are at level 377 but can go up to 410, though I'm struggling to get the hero EXP i need. It feels like I'm getting hero EXP at a painfully slow rate, even when I use most reward chests and stuff on getting more of it. The gap between my hero's current levels and the level they can reach is just getting wider even when I'm not focusing on getting more ascended. How do increase the amount of hero EXP I get? or is this just normal?
