When j was reading the book I was surprised on how of a slow burn it was yet also helped with how fast I finished the book. I was expecting to finish this in a week but only lasted me 2 days. Over all the story was amazing and also enjoyed the characters. Abby is an amazing friend. One book I would highly recommend is tales from the gas station. It’s a horror comedy that is an amazing fun read for most people I’ve recommended it to.
I like to delve into horror from time to time, Darcy Coates proved to be quite good, but this sounds interesting as well and I'm putting it onto my neverending list of TBR
I just filmed a video where I found myself referring to books from the 90s as classics so I think it's correct to call the 80s historical even though I'm not sure how I feel about baby-me being a historical person :P
I guess I'm trying to convey that part of the appeal of the book is the time period it is talking about and that it is integral to the book, if you set this in another decade it would be drastically different. So yeah the 'history' aspect of it is important? I know there is a technical definition of what counts as history though :D
