The premier league would gladly take millions of pounds selling tv rights in the gulf region but tries to sanction them when their darling clubs are threatened with competition. Absolutely disgusting.
You obviously mean 'fair' competition. Now the Toon and City can spend what they like, the others may as well give up. This will be the death of the PL and make the European Super League happen within a few years.
@@cestrian5294 United spent what they like, Chelsea did the same. And where are they? And on the other hand, do you think those people who run the clubs are stupid to spend more than their business could sustain? Spend all the money and buy who? You are trapped by the legacy media's fear mongering tactic to make the red cartel look better. Get out of it and think staight, don't be a sheep.
@@cestrian5294so maybe a league where we all have roughly the same ? Or do you mean a league where global corporate monsters sponsor their chosen ones ! A league where the majority never had a chance anyway…you honestly begrudge Newcastle being allowed to compete ? You wanna take ya ball and go and play with ya other mates .! It’s ok for certain clubs to have a once in a lifetime manger but not Manchester City ! ..I get the feeling a lot of this cheating will make pep want to stay even longer 🤣🤣
@@cestrian5294 Absolute bollocks, the prem was concieved because the self proclaimed big five utd, lpool, arsenal, everton and spurs demanded a bigger slice of the cake. This was to strengthen and consolidate their position at the top for ever, fair doesn`t enter into it. The emergence of Manchester City kicking their barricades down to join the party as led to a 15yrs witch hunt of the club. The red cartel...sorry premier league obviously dont like the competition particularly because the tourists that follow those clubs can see how things should be done. The fact that the American owned clubs are pulling the strings of the cowboys running the show is no surprise. They claim a club that have the biggest turnover in the country and are debt free are doing it all wrong. Meanwhile the team down the road in nearby Salford are operating with £1bn debts. Not only that they`ve just posted losses of £113.2m despite getting £75m in handouts to keep the PSR monster at bay. The media circus carry on this charade with platforms like talkshite waxing lyrical about them on a daily basis, the mind boggles.
@@cestrian5294 It's always been the richest clubs do best, in fact it's proven. If you can spend, it's unfair ? As for a super league, I wouldn't mind it, provided the door closes behind any club leaving. Then the prem is still likely to be dominated by the richest clubs. Sorry but it's a fact of life in football.
depending on the outcome i can see this being the case. APT rules were rushed, built on fear mongering about newcastle, misplaced references about an unknown club, disputed allegations about city which may not even be correct, and had no evidence they were even effective or needed. literally just brought in shortly after our takeover because they wanted to limit our growth. which brings you to citys claim about the rules were deliberately intended to restrict competition.
cant remember the same energy from the clubs and premier league when Ashley was paying zero for sports direct advertising, how can they demand a maximium when they dont demand a mininium,
The first football match I ever saw was when I was 9 years old. It was at Maine Road. I am now 81 years old and have been a constant fan of City since then. In that match, the result was City 0 Newcastle 0. Since then, I have always had a very soft spot for Newcastle and I am always pleased when they win, even after all these years. Except for a short period in 1953 when Newcastle hammered City 3-1 in the FA Cup final. I wish Newcastle the very best of luck in their new ownership and hope now it can do for Newcastle what the Etihad have done for City. Don’t forget to hammer Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd and Spurs when you next play them. PS. That’s a beautiful cat you have. Hope he supports Newcastle.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Roofied, hands tied behind their back, blindfolded and screwed up the ar.. I know that's crude, but i'm livid & it pretty much describes what the premier league has done in plain sight to the club.
Maybe adam’s a secret undercover mackem. The shed is identical to the argentinian rugby top, they are nick named the pumas. Which are black cats. …. Did anyone else notice how the wind started blowing in adams garden when he suggested he was a MCFC fan. 👻
This meeting is merely the premier league trying to remind everyone that they are still in charge. But the fact still remains- they lost this case and the rules will have to change.
I don't think Sunderlands ownership would be as petty as the red cartel or american owned clubs who are both part of the "stop the gulf region" crusade. Sunderland is owned by a French person, not a local person, and they're going to want to promote and build the club to stay in the premiership, which rules that stunt growth would prevent. Fulham is American owned, it's part of the American ownership cartel of 10 clubs. We need less American Ownership in the premier league as they're heavily a part of the bad rule changes or pushing for closed leagues, equity, etc. They don't want to grow and invest, they want to profit.
I don't see the logic of holding back teams that want to invest in their club. I understand the idea of fairness but it's hardly fair that the "big 6" can spend what they want effectively yet a club like Newcastle isn't allowed to do that. Surely having a "big 8" with Newcastle and Villa as well, is better for the league, since more people will watch and more people will want to be a part of it. It's a win-win.
Same thing happened with the multi ownership clubs and the ability to swap players between clubs owned be the same owner but unfortunately more teams were on newcastles side for that vote
Don't think relegation is gonna be an issue in the civil war. They have to get this sorted quickly. If they wait till the end of the season, we can sign up every company in Saudi before the end of the season. Plus it won't affect us taking them to court
All against Newcastle because they are scared that we are now a top 6 club. They absolutely hate it we are doing well .Look at all the shit we had under Ashley .It's about time the Toon had some luck .Up The Toon .
To describe MCFC as the shed is laughable our owners have invested in east Manchester regenerating one of the most rundown areas in Manchester cratering jobs housing in biggest indoor arena in Europe what have the American owners of the pride of Singapore on the other side of Manchester done fixed a roof 😂
FFP PSr waht they did want entrench the old firms over any new owner to give the markets leverage threatning the EPL FA with a super lg if they ditn get their way?
Modern football is utter bollocks!!!!££££££ money 💰 money 💰 Money 💴. Maybe give the title to the most wealthy owners and be done! $$$. With regards to Manchester City; who I have previously supported…..the people in charge were well up for a European super league!!! It’s worth remembering just what they really want and what they really think! ‘Price of everything, value of nothing’. All that glitters is not Gold.
