Its the worst part of what the rfu and prl have created in england, newcastle are very poor, and will continue to get melted. They need time in the championship to reform and rebuild, but not only is there not a viable replacement (ealing would get either stomped, or go broke) also the falcons would be in grave danger of going bust. - big problems that will take some time to fix (I think they can)

@@24hr_rugby_jake see it’s one of those things that if the championship were viable it would be, because the issue with Newcastle isn’t talent (mostly) it’s money, so going down to rebuild with a smaller but more competitive wage bill would be beneficial. However that is in the fictional world where the championship doesn’t mean financial implosion for Newcastle

@@wilhelm7222 I’d rather them get 0 wins a year in the prem each year and get premiership revenue than go down to the championship and risk losing everything. Unless a championship club can realistically add more than they do. Which a few could, but not Ealing in my opinion
