I love the high end custom builds for what is possible and luxury, but I actually prefer this coach. I think there is more "real life" to this beautiful, beautiful coach. Love it, and thanks for sharing it with us.
Andrew this is an awesome Newell coach. It is gorgeous. Lots of room and storage. Nice office desk up front. Thank you Andrew for showing this Newell. And taking it for a drive. Hope you have a great weekend.
Pretty much "par for the course" with Newell here, I really like the mid-entry, and with the murphy bed you have full access all the way to the back. Dual use bedroom is definitely an advantage when you're dealing with limited space. A little surprised at just how much room there is to walk down the coach while driving, seems a bit wider than some of the others you've shown us. Layout, materials, colors are all really nice. 1900+ lb/ft of torque, no one's going to have issues driving through/to Denver in this baby. Very nicely done tour of this amazing coach with one extremely minor hiccup. You skipped what I believe is the outdoor TV in the wood veneered box next to the chairs. (I was doing "Brad Pitt" from the movie "Se7en"- "What's in the box?!?" lol) Thanks for sharing this with us Andrew. Great job.
A friendly word of advice in regards to the steering tag axle; be extra careful when towing, as the towed vehicle will kick out when turning. I had a MCI entertainer coach with a trailer way back in the day, and got in a pinch when pulling off a curb and ended up with a street sign in between the coach and trailer. I ended up having to disconnect and reconnect to get it out of it. I personally prefer a dump tag, but the big advantage with the steering tag is you maintain the full rear suspension lift when towing and making a turn.
Thanks for the insight. I love when people like you give that "extra" advice from experience. Gives potential buyers things to look for and accept or reject.
The woodwork here is amazing! It reminds me of marine yacht woodwork. Beautiful! I love that there is a desk. I'm not really into the busy fabrics. It reminds me of my Grandma's old motorhome in the fabric end. I'm also torn on the murphy bed. I understand why. But, I love to watch tv in bed at night. So, that is the only issue I have. It's amazing. If only I could afford one. I'm debating if I want to sell our home and hit the road. My husband can. Do his work on the road but, it's a tough choice.
Oh man this on is the shiz. Only issue I have is none of the sofas look long enough to stretch out on. That murphy bed setup is freaking awesome. I would use that area as my office space during my work hours.
I've been looking at a lot of your videos. Personally, I'd rather sleep in one of these Newell RVs than sleep in a hotel suite. Some of these are worth millions, but if you travel the road a lot, you save money ultimately on hotel/motel room rentals. And I am a fan of that bowl corner sink in the rear restroom. Newell coaches are, as the kids say today, lit.
At $899,999 you could stay at $250/night hotels for 3600 nights (10 years). After that you might be saving money if you don't count maintenance, fuel, and parking. But unfortunately, this coach is already pushing 7 years old and most posh RV parks have policies against RV's more than 10 years old, so you might or might not be able to use it more than 3 years. Make no mistake, this is a beautiful coach for those who value bathroom space and custom quality. But there's really no good way to rationalize it as the thrifty option! ;-) And if you want convenience, buy an MCI with a fuel filler sensibly placed on the same side as the entrance door.
I returned after 4 months and rewatched the video. I’m completely doing a U turn on my comments on the bedroom. Having the Murphy bed now seems like you have a bigger coach to use especially when entertaining. Maybe some watch the football game whilst others want the tennis or just to relax and talk with background music. You have a far more flexible vehicle than any standard RV with this design. My only grouch is that the shower could do with a wooden pull down chair for those who want to soak or are possibly disabled. You certainly have the room. I love the office space which could be switched over to the bedroom for those who really need to work on the road. I have a friend Patricia Cornwell who I imagine would write a book whilst traveling or at her destination. Thank you again Andrew you have opened my eyes to the opportunities this Newell presents. Incidentally was there a price mentioned?
Out of all the Newell Coach buses I've seen, this the best looking one by fore. the paint job along specks volume then you have the floor plan. If I was too purchase one , I want this one.....2014. beautiful bus
Love the 3 pass through cargo compartments. I like the mid entry door. We're not into the shiny veneer style (on the furniture and interior design, but that's an easy fix when you order one of these). Is there no TV to watch from the bed (when the bed is down)? We watch a lot of tv when in bed. Oh and as you Know sit, the Wife needs her Dual Vanity. And your boy Josh: dude needs to develop a smile. He could learn from you. lol
Is there a under ..outside tv ? Is there a deep freezer ? Is there a tv so you can watch it in bed ? And is there a fire-lace that could be installed ? What is the price ?
Thanks Andrew Beautiful Coach I’d have Newell take the Murphy bed and sofa out and use a regular bed and chest with televator Had a mid entry for 14 years wouldn’t want it any other way actually Interested to see the price of this beauty
Andrew I’ve been watching your videos for a while and I really do like them you do a great job. But I have a question about these magnetic locking latches I would really like to see a close-up of those and really have them explained how they work. My question is will they hold how much does it take to actually break contact ? Ok that’s my big question keep up the good work I love this coach! Is there a price yet? I love this couch I want it. But my better half is not totally sold yet. I say yet haha.
One problem that full timers face is the cramped space. Here is a spacious RV with a bedroom which doubles as a family room during the day. Houses in many areas go for twice the asking price. I'm not seriously interested but am sure that there are some who will be.
Hey well wow. That was one nice bus. My Hubby would have hard time getting into all those spaced because he is tall and bending down would be harder. I did like the murphy bed and the look of the bus 👍
Always drool seeing these spectacular interiors but now after watching videos on the problems these luxury RVs can have..... well it makes me wonder.....
I love the Murphy Bed layout! I think that I would have to put a Tele-Vator behind the Love Seat so that I could watch TV when the bed is down. I would also probably remove the Wardrobe Closets and have a Long Sofa where the Loveseat is! But overall a very cool layout!! Also, is there a Dishwasher in the Galley??
Actually I would prefer putting the bathroom in the back because this is the loudest area of the coach . Your in the bathroom half hour at the most . However you can sleep for hours on a long trip . Bathroom in the back over the engine.
Beautiful!!! I love it all. I would like to know if all the nit pickers even could afford this or any one like it? Can you not have turn signal noise? And to be honest, do like and don't like, mid entry. Like the seat up front. Mid entry not good as we don't want it right in the middle of our RV.
WHAT A BEUTIFUL COACH.IT IS A ROLLS ROYCE OF COACHES.SEEMS LIKE SOME OF THE OLDER MODELS LOOK BETTER THAN THE NEW ONES.BUTS THAT JUST MY THOUGHTS.GREAT JOB ANDREW.
I need to buy some scratch off tickets. I could never imagine owing something this beautiful. As I'm looking at my 2021 Thor Hurricane in the driveway.
Is that the Cummins 605 or is it the 600 horsepower? I know you said it's a 600 Andrew but I was just curious if it's the newer Cummins motor that's the 605
Whoa there, thats a beautiful coach!! Especially the Porsche designed outside. However, just as a point of clarification, I would refer to the camera that shows the back as an observation camera rather than back up. Just saying.
Actually like that bed option. And the front office. And for ince I like the interior color scheme. Shower could use a bench but you could easily have ine put in.
Andrew, Love the videos, keep them coming. There is a Newell in my retirement Hopefully, how big and new depends somewhat on the crypto market. I have two questions if I may. Do you think it is better to spend a certain amount on getting a ready to go motorhome or spending 20 or 50 or 100 grand in upgrades and or repairs? Also, did you ever buy a spot in Las Vegas. I live in Hendreson.
i like newell mid entry never figured out why rv manufacturers keep putting entry by passengers seat never made sense to me. each newell is one of a kind.
It’s a great way to travel the country during the pandemic. Whatever the costs of hotels you cannot guarantee the hygiene or if someone else has been ill before your stay. I’m really impressed with virtually everything except the master bedroom with the murphy bed as you can’t watch the TV. Job number one move the TV. I’m sorry to see that there’s no solar panels on the roof or efforts to reduce carbon emissions. For me this is a 3-5 year motorhome before needing to look at the emissions and buy an alternative motorhome. It’s concerning that both aircon and heating are gas guzzlers so perhaps I should look elsewhere. Thank you for your excellent showing on the types of motorhomes available. Finally I’d be concerned about the lack of fire exits especially in the cockpit. Safety doesn’t come first in this vehicle.
And again , this is my question to you guys . Does people living in those coaches for a longer time or only for just some time or very short term , just for summer holiday or trip from place to place to avoiding living in motels or hotels ?
So 2 problem on my" Nascar test bed rig" can be worked around & w/the lead time other wise think 18 months + huge pnt to work on for Me getting it down to 12 months, semi vs full custom unless willing to pay & wait time mostly, say 2yrs vs 12/13 months.
