The Ferrari 488 Spider is the turbo charged replacement to the 458 Spider. Those turbos may have taken away some of the car's soul, but has replaced it with a horsepower bump and a MASSIVE increase in torque. Faster, more refined, better handling and improved in numerous ways, the 488 has finally convinced me that newer is better. Prior to driving a 488 on the track and experiencing this spider on the street, I absolutely believed that the 458 was still a better car to drive and own...my mind has been changed! What an amazing machine!

Ahhh yes... excellent video, Eddie. A 488 is definitely one of those cars that makes me give a double-take... one of those cars I could see myself using quite often. Gotta reach that status of baller. Keep up the great work man.

I like the 488, but I would take a 458 honestly over it simply because the NA V8 sounds better and revs out. That turbo power in the 488 is ridiculous!

Hey Eddie great video. Something I did see that bothered me a little. The colors are kinda all over the place. You had some great color correction in the beginning with some cooler colors. But all these shots the reds are different color reds.

EddieX Check out "The Car Guys" channel, he just sold his 488 for a considerable loss, but that was the UK and their market is all over the place.

That UK car had something like $90k of options on it, was bought shortly after a 7% price increase and was sold after a few months. No surprise depreciation was heavy. It’s definitely easy to over-specify a Ferrari and some choices do little for you at resale time.

John Jiang Nope not that simple , inflation eats away at those gains at an avg of 2% a year , once sold for liquid cash a 20% capital gains tax is incurred at the end of those 10 years without any special benefit . Better to volatility trade which is what I do using volatility products on a predictable basis ..made that amount in 4 years while also maintaining an IT job .

John Jiang No I’m not dumb enough to spend 200k on a car at my young age, Better to build equity and mature your TOA in a portfolio then leverage a pre owned one in a low interest rate Econ cycle and then make payments on it from what your earn on split dividends

Zi Chen It’s not a “stock” it trades like an equity so it has a ticker symbol but it’s an electronic traded note or ETN derived from the Vix index on SNP 500 option prices ...TVIX SVXY UVXY VVXY I go long or short them based on my analysis . The guy above me is basically describing a 401k but buying a Ferrari with it 😭😭😂😭😂😭😂😭😭😭😭😭😂😂
