Mogwai (filtered Wukong) isn't like that. To avoid destiny, he had to abandon Macaque, who was a teenager (I used the 2009 clips). Macaque, who Mogwai named him Li'uer Mihou before earning the nickname from Wukong, wondered if he and Mogwai will reunite again... Mogwai promised that...
