@@Omo_adewuyi Very, very friendly people and place. A home from home. St. John's is not your usual bustling and overcrowded city like Toronto etc. But it is friendly and safe. Jobs are available depending on your specialization and taste. Because of dwindling population around the Bays (Either you're a 'townie' or 'Bayman'...Lol), the population of Newfoundland needs to be shored up by skilled foreign immigrants. I don't think you'll have much problems.
I am an Electrical engineer with 5years experience .my score is 90 They have pathway for graduate of memorial University of Newfoundland and also partway for work experienced candidates under the priority skill. You did not talk about the work experienced people.i have applied from outside canada. And they sent me an email, that they will send me an ITA within next 12months if am qualified.am just praying. Is diploma in Supply Chain Management in MUN can help PR pathway to Newfoundland and Labrador? What do think about the prospects of Supply Chain management profession in Newfoundland?
@@EmceeBernardinhoTV it does if I want to go to a different country after I finish my studies in MUN. If MUN isn't in top 500 many workplaces don't recognize it

Sir, I am from Bangladesh and I complete B.tech in Mechanical Engineering and now I want to do M.tech in Mechanical Engineering.Sir, I belongs to a Middle class family in Bangladesh.Sir, please tell me what opportunities there are for me
Kaise ho Bhai! You can get into a lot of universities, and if you performed well in college, you can even get into top level universities! For engineering, University of Toronto, University of British Columbia and McGill are really highly reputed, but are hard to get into. Dalhousie Uni and Alberta are really good and not too hard to get into, just Dalhousie is a bit expensive. Money wise, Memorial university, University of Manitoba, Lakehead university are good choices, but if you're looking for high quality along with reasonably affordable colleges, Alberta is really good. Check out some of the Scholarship opportunities in these universities too.
I currently have an application with this school for next year Spring intake. I discussed this with some of my friends and I was shocked to hear what they said about it. I am 28 and applying for Bsc in CS . They told me I won't get a visa because of my age. To what extent is this true ?
Go to nairaland and read up the students visa section... You will read about older people who got admission for their bsc and eventually got a visa.... Just compile the right documents with strong statement of purpose. Best of luck
@@nazakuba5130 hello sis,I am 37 and I finished high school over 20yrs ago,do I stand chances of getting admission to this school as undergraduate? I will definitely go check up the thread on nairaland as you mentioned
@Amazing Styles Tv 20year is a huge study gap, what have you been up to in the last 20years? Is it related to the course you want to study? Getting admission won't be difficult for you but you will need a very strong statement of purpose and strong home ties to convince the Visa Officer that you will return to your home country after studies.... Don't be discouraged, you could should be favoured . Lastly I will advise you engage the service of a very good agent to make things easier with your visa process for you. Best regards
Hello brother.....I'm applying for my wife ..admission at memorial university university.... my question here is can we apply study permit at the same time me and her and my daughter??? Thanks

Hello Man . I'm Nigerian and seeking to apply to Memorial University. I want to know if An English test is required for admission and if it's possible to gain admission with a 2.2 grade ?
Thank you so much for the opportunity.i really appreciate. Please my question is that, I wrote IELTS which is the General training modules and I score 5band. So my question is is there any provinces that can take band 5 in IELTS in other to immigrates to canada sir Thank you so much.
I think that Memorial has a limit of 5.5.... I'm afraid that if you want to get into a good Uni, you need to study more and get atleast 6. Re-give the test, study hard, and I'm sure you'll get into any university in Canada. That's what I feel
Good day Mcee, thanks for the information. Please I would like to know if the university offered a social science course for Master, I actually studied accounting in University of Lagos and I'm thinking of applying for my M.Sc in Newfoundland and Labrador University but I don't know if they offer management courses, kindly advise or better still if it is possible to study those courses you mentioned. Please I would also like to know it is IELTS English exams is a must before someone can get admission. Thank you.
