Min heejin sucks

THIS! Everyone be siding with hybe and calling Min Heejin a "witch" "psychopath" etc. when they don't even know the whole story behind it. In the first place, why would you think Min Heejin would start this if they're being treated very well at hybe? (especially NJ comeback is right around the corner) She also said she did the press conference for the girls so that people won't curse NJ once the MV dropped...

​@@kazuboy9454 I'd be careful with the sources you're watching, the only people I've seen mention the word "witch" are Korean people on TikTok that are fan accounts. I mostly see people saying MHJ seems really unprofessional, which is true whether you agree with her or not. Ultimately, even the most neutral Korean RU-vidr I watched who translated the conference until he just couldn't take it anymore , DJ Jino, eventually stopped translating because she kept talking in circles. I initially watched the conference live with translations from an actual news outlet, not Koreaboo, etc., but I would encourage ppl to watch DJ Jino because he does seem particularly neutral about the issue. He said she seems difficult to work with and that he could understand if she was initially frustrated by their situation, but that most people would be a grown up about it and move on, especially because the girls became so successful. Going off of that to give my POV, you don't hang onto this kind of stuff years after the fact. You don't set up a conference and call people some of the worst words used in the Korean language (fully translated she was swearing over and over and over, using words like "motherf*ckers" numerous times.) His take is that her complaints aren't very serious. He worked in finance in Korea and she's talking about pretty minor things that are normal in a work in environment. It mostly sounds like the management just didn't get along very well and tbh that she's a bit of handful to work with, he even said he has his own complaints about HYBE, but mostly they're worried about being this big conglomerate instead of focusing on the music. But other than if HYBE can truly back up their claims that she was working on getting 50% of Ador's shares to devalue them and force HYBE to sell it to her, her complaints are typical office drama and she's making it out to be like she's under some slave contract, which she isn't.

Yes, but MHJ also said in actual interviews that the way she promoted was partly her idea. HYBE initially gave her $11 million dollars to debut the girls however she wished btw, so if she wanted a showcase she could've had one, and even during the conference she showed the text message from the VP asking what he could do to make up for debuting LSF first. She also didn't have to take on the debt from training the girls, that debt was left with Source. What gets me is that one thing people siding with her have no leg to stand on is how much support HYBE put behind NewJeans, they've had countless opportunities and significant money to back them up the entire time. They didn't even call LSF the sister group of BTS, that was all given to NewJeans, I always remembered it was kind of weird LSF was never called a sister group. The main thing MHJ can complain about is that SHE promised the parents NewJeans would debut first because that was initally the plan. But, the reason they debuted later is likely her fault because she insisted on moving the group to Ador. Creating a sublabel doesn't happen overnight and what likely happened is the execs wanted to push LSF out first because they didn't have to wait to set up a whole new label to debut them. This might have been understandably frustrating, but that's when you put your big girl grownup pants on and just deal with the situation as it is, this is more of a minor office dispute where the head of the company has their reasons for doing something for the good of the entire company that unfortunately inconviences one of their departments. What I don't particularly like is that MHJ acts like she's more than a department head. She may have made NewJeans what they are, but she does not own Ador, she did not have to suffer through many years of being poor to even get the funds to set up a label and was even handed $11 million on top of what that would cost to do what she wished. She already acts like she owns Ador, even though she keeps insisting she never wanted to own a label. She keeps saying it's not about the money, but then constantly talks about the money. She's not different than any creative director except she was handed an entire sublabel for being good at her job. Speaking of creative director, how do you think ILLIT's feels about MHJ saying ILLIT is a copy of NewJeans? I want you to watch Bubble Gum, and then Magnetic. I don't see how anyone can seriously think they're similar. They both young with long black, natural hair, which has been trending because of NewJeans and have catchy songs. That's it. People constantly say NewJeans is more R&B than anything, ILLIT isn't remotely R&B and honestly? I can tell there's a difference because the people I know that like kpop aren't really into NewJeans (I know, shocking but true, some people aren't into it), they like ILLIT. I'd also encourage you to watch DJ Jino's translation, mostly because he tries to remain neutral but gives his POV as someone that has actually worked in Korea.
