I don't wanna a full album from them. I love thier current style like Attention, Hurt, Cookie, Hype Boy, and Ditto. But, if they changed the current styles, I won't love them anymore. And another case is that I love their music styles but can't listen the same style songs continuously. It would make me boring.

@@peach1347 There is an example that Dreamcatcher do their own things like Rock+pop in their title tracks and their b side tracks are varied into different genres. They did it since their day 1 and till now. Didn't change it. I love. And next example, BTS do their songs in heavily Hip Hop concept and style that's what I liked them since 2015. But, now they changed a lot and their songs are more like appealing to mainly US fanbase and more like products rather than artistic. So, my favor on them became less and less. They even said they also don't know what the path should they continue to walk for the concept. That's why I said, New Jean's current concept meet my favor. And if they changed it, I said I won't love them anymore. I wanna get their same concept and music style in one by one steadily but not all at once.
If I had to guess the story, I think New Jeans died. I think the 6th girl was their friend and they possibly all suffered some sort of accident that was fatal for NJs and the sixth girl survived. Hence the cast. But she can't seem to accept the reality or deal with the grief so she's seen constantly reliving the pleasant experiences she had with them while filming them. But they're not dead to her, that's why she keeps filming after the fact. This is why the girls write on her cast but nothing is there. She paints Minji's pinky finger but it's actually her own. People are calling her but she can't pick up. The guy, I think, saw that she was suffering but didn't know how to adequately approach her. In side A, she sticks with NJs, staying her delusion till the end. In Side B, she walks away from them in the rain, chooses to hang out with the guy, and is looking back at NJs as an adult. While in Side A it starts with her watching the old videos.
Would the death theory that explain the cast on her arm and why she doesn't show her face? Maybe she has scars on the top left side of her face, in none of the parts where u can see her face they show that side even when she's drinking water and the guy drinks water too, the other students don't seem to wanna get close to her but he does. Maybe that's why she looks like she freezes realizing he is there. Also why the memories she has of them are happy, she is remembering them as fun people who would do what they love aka dance and play around in school with their friend at the same time she seems to be having survivors guilt. Some people also said it might just be a girl going through stuff at school being comforted by her idols. I recommend watching All of Us Are Dead and Little Women on Netflix in which Park Jiho acts and is one of the main leads in both series. for everyone who doesn't understand, the 6th person in this MV is us; bunnies. Everyday, we watch their content; vlives, variety shows, reels, mv's, and laugh over the funny compilations made by fans. Even though, some of us will never meet them, we are always by their sides, supporting them. In the first mv ( side A), it shows the perspective of normal people. They have no idea how Newjeans or kpop in general could change our lives, or at least make our day better. This MV is directed to us. Whenerver we're emotional, Newjeans is always here for us; making our day brighter. Plus, just yesterday Newjeans were doing vlive and Hanni told us that she hopes we can find some comfort in this song ♡
i believed this at first but there’s another theory that they were friends that got in an accident and she’s the only survivor. and throughout the video she (heeso) is grieving. 😭 that explains the cast on her arm and the deer, which has some deeper meaning relating to that theory… the guy is probably there to be the only one to reach out. this theory is a lot more sad tho 🗿
@@milk.8793 for me, the cast on her arms means that she went through tough times (got hurt) and in one part of the mv; minji draw a heart on it, representing that she and the girls were like a healing journey for heeso. newjeans is trying to let us know that they will be there for us as well. but i respect ur theory tho; it's creative ^^
@@luv5776 oh no, its not my theory just one i saw other people saying, and it made sense from the storytelling side. i saw a theory like yours and believed that at first because it makes sense too but when i saw the one i referenced it just clicked. winter is usually a somber point in many people’s lives so it just felt so fitting for the story to be about some type of grieving. i could see something traumatic like in that theory, causing such a story to play out. but yea i’m not trying to get you to believe this theory, just saying that there are other ways for fans to interpret this 🗿
❄ The first part of MV side A we see from the perspective of Heesoo (Jihu). In Heesoo's eyes, NewJeans are best friends and she always holds a cam to capture NewJeans' moments. ❄ However, at the end of the MV, we are seen from the perspective of other classmates. What Heesoo saw was not real. When the MV ended, there was a segment where Minji suddenly smeared the legs (lower body) of the drawing. Hypothetically, ghosts will not have legs so Minji's smearing could be a sign that NewJeans is not real ❄ In the MV side B, Heesoo played the old tape again to review the footage she had taken and recall the happy memories with NewJeans. Then there are 3 hypotheses to be put forward: 1 is that Heesoo has no friends so she imagined NewJeans to be her friend 2 is NewJeans is ghost 3 is both Heesoo and NewJeans are friends but there was an accident (Heesoo injured her hand) and Heesoo was obsessed about it so she always imagined NewJeans. When Heesoo threw away the other camera, she accepted that her friends were gone. ❄ There are things that appear in the MV but still have no answers such as: deer, cat, Heesoo's crush (Choi Hyunwook) It's a bit weird, isn't it? I accidentally watched side b first and then side a. It made the MVs connect better in some way and made it sad for me. The story and meaning behind it is pretty powerful.

Not gonna lie, this song relates to me so well. Back when I am in middle school/junior high. I am always alone and lonely until I met some “friends” in school. We are always dancing and filming together from time to time and we enjoyed each other’s company. Till one day one of my “friend” fell in love with each other, that’s when everything started to change. We started to begin to slowly drift apart as my two best friends are dating and I am mostly left alone. One day they broke up due to personal reasons and that’s when the blame game came along. I was blamed for something I did not do and my “friends” that used to be close with me start spreading rumors about me that made my other close friends turned their backs on me. Feeling betrayed by what happened, I kept thinking to myself if I am the reason why my “friends” broke up in the first place? I kept thinking to myself is this why I lost all my “friends” that I treasured so much? Once again I am left alone and lonely till one day I start pretending that I have all these “friends” beside me when in real life it never happened. When I start my high school/ college life, still alone and lonely. I met a bunch of new people and made some new friends. We started to do the same things I once did back in middle school/ junior high, dancing and filming from time to time. This time these friends I had supported me when I am at my lowest point in my life. My life was slowly back in track. I started doing what I love doing and always hanged out with the new friends I made. Now that I am an young adult, looking back at some old photos and videos I kept behind. All my past “friends” made me realize that it’s ok that people grow apart and move on in life without you. They made me appreciate all the happy moments we used to have in the past.

But I dunno where you’re from cos in London we have something called MLE which is jumbled up languages from different cultures in London that the working class use (doesn’t matter where you’re from, your race or ethnicity) it’s just from where different communities and ethnic backgrounds live and mesh together! But you’ll find a lot of working class Londoners using Jamaican Patois regardless of if they’re Jamaican. We use Arabic, African languages, Caribbean and all sorts, it’s pretty cool. In the story the girls were dead. Someone said that they and the girl filming were in an accident, and film girl was the only one who survived hence the cast. In reality, she was filming no one which is why she was getting strange looks. Either she imagined them or they were ghosts who were worried about her coz they write a heart and 'don't die' on her cast. The guy was a love interest who helps her move on. In the end, she watches a tape that was actually a part of her reality coz it was filmed before the girls died. People says the deer has some spiritual significance or is related on the passing if a loved one. I guess she rewatched the tape in the end coz she believes they're still with her even tho she moved on. This was what I've gathered from other comments. Another thing to be noticed. Film girl painted Minji's nail but when she woke up, it was her nails that was painted...

Here’s my theory of DITTO NewJeans and the girl were best friends. Hanging out with each other, going to each others house and enjoying the time they had with each other. Until an accident happened leaving the girl to be the only survivor, hence the cast. Though, she cannot move on yet! They were her best friends how could you expect her to move on? So she starts hallucinating about them as if they were there with her. Filming them, painting each others nails, NewJans writing on the girls cast. Encouraging the girl to also talk to her crush, it was cute right? But In the end of the day none of that was real, it was all an illusion. I believe the girl finally releases it, the ending of side A, when she looks at her cast to see it was clean and her only painting her nails instead of thinking it was NewJeans. Her thinking back to when she was filming NewJeans only to be shown her filming alone with confused faces looking at her. So the girl moves on, dropping her camera. And you can see that NewJeans were confused about the girl ignoring them. You can see the girl being in contact with a deer, a deer represents comfort of a person who you lost. So I believe the deer has to be part of this accident. At the end of side B you can see her looking back at the memories she filmed of NewJeans. Then you seen NewJeans coming back to her house. “I thought she moved on why are they back?” Exactly, she didn’t move on and she might never will….
