The ETA MV is a criticism of the information age and the power of rumors. All of the scenes with the guy and girl kissing, the hair band/bracelet thing, etc., were all scenarios imagined up by Eva, who stopped picking up the calls from the NewJeans members and therefore could only go off of the information provided at the start of the video. By the end of the video, Eva has murdered her boyfriend, but we (the viewers) don't actually know if the guy was cheating or not. Therefore, the music video is a cautionary tale on the failure of many nowadays to check the validity of the information they consume.
