i don't like how people are mad that the choreography doesn't match the very calm aspect of the song, but i personally think that it makes the song perfect. they just look like a group of friends having fun and putting together a dance for their school's talent show.

Do you know ever since kpop started decades ago, even before girls generation, they always debuted as minors right? That is how things have always worked. I don't know any group where all members were adults when they debuted, this is not exclusive to new jeans.

minors are debuting from the very start. IU was 15 when she debuted. not just her but kpop competitions are also the same. ppl don't even take kpop auditions of 20+ now.. im 03 liner. and hybe's girl audition last age range is 04 liner.

ironically, that’s actually the concept newjeans has right now. they’re a group of high schoolers that want to be idols and constantly practice and create their own choreographies. it’s pretty creepy when you dive deeper into it and realise there’s this whole storyline behind everything.

newjeans dances are harder to learn than other girl groups, because other/majority of girl groups choreo is choreographed to the T with the head position, leg, hand movements, hip position, etc. But w newjeans, theres a lot of free-styling and playful aspect to it, and if you don’t have the dancers groove it is much more harder.

I think because of the freestyling it's easier, idk i can learn it easier, i find other group's dances harder actually 😅 idk it's just fun to do 😭

True there were many jumpy and fun parts so it can be confusing to understand if the moves are there or are they just jumping lol especially in start of chorus Hanni is hardest to understand since she have the most jumpy moves but eventually after seeing it 28 times lol I got it

40 mins it’s like saur good 😢actually I did it in like 20 min because i knew some steps already but if I didn’t knew those it usually would take me around 1 or 2 hours 😅 i think you are a really good dancer ❤
