Picture this: Tokyo, bustling with life, neon lights, and the captivating view of innovative progress stealing everybody's gaze. I was just a high schooler back then, but boy, those were some unforgettable times. It was a warm summer evening, and my friends and I had decided to head to the local park. We brought along a portable cassette player, our prized possession, to add some music to our hangout. Little did we know that this particular night would leave an indelible mark on our memories. As the sun dipped below the horizon and the stars began to twinkle above, we started playing some random Citypop songs we had recorded from the radio. And that's when it happened - the song that would forever be etched in my heart came on, the iconic city pop group Newjeans with its debut single "ETA" As the song continued, we swayed to the music, lost in the moment. The twinkling lights of the city seemed to dance in harmony with the music, and for that brief moment, everything was perfect. We were young and carefree, and the world was ours to explore. Even today, whenever I hear "ETA" by Newjeans, I'm transported back to that magical summer night in the late '70s. It's a reminder of the friends I shared that moment with, the dreams we had, and the music that brought us together.
