Today we touch upon a social issue of concern within Korea's entertainment industry that was recently brought to light by NewJeans member Hanni at the parliament where she shared her experience of workplace bullying.
For more I have Marianna Baroli a journalist for Italian news magazine Panorama.

1) Marianna, let's begin with details about NewJeans member Hanni's testimony at the National Assembly.
What did she say, and what were your takeaways from her testimony?

3) Marianna, before we delve into the presence of bullying within the entertainment industry here, what can you share with us about this reality within the workplace in Italy?
4) Marianna, have you personally covered any related stories within the K-pop industry?
5) Bernie, bullying is believed to be prevalent in industries beyond that of the entertainment here in Korea.
That being said, there have been growing calls for tangible efforts to better address its presence.
How do you care to assess related efforts in the K-pop industry?
6) Marianna, another form of abuse targeting K-pop artists on the home ground is fan entitlement, an unfortunate scenario in which some fans feel entitled to dictate the fate of artists who have allegedly not lived up to certain expectations.
First, do you believe K-pop artists are held to a much higher standard as compared to their global counterparts?
And if so, why do you suppose this is the case?
7) And Bernie, speaking as an industry insider, what are your thoughts regarding the notion that Korean artists are held to much higher moral and ethical standards?
8) Meanwhile Marianna, as we await some tangible advances in efforts to eliminate bullying within the working environment, what do you believe has been the merit, if you will, of Hanni's recent testimony at the parliament?
