I'm glad that idol called out that toxic fan on social media. If more idols call out these people like this maybe it will cut down on the hurtful messages. I hope that idols start suing if they can.

And yeah, if things get really out of hand, suing might be the wakeup call some people need. At the end of the day, let's keep it positive and show our idols the love they deserve! 😊👍

Quite honestly the way the Korean 'fans' treat these idols and are so hateful if they hear for example they are dating etc - which by the way is literally none of their business - then, however this person got hold o fhis phone number I would say that he was 100% correct to call them out name them etc why should they have to put up with that - that is not a fan a fan a real fan who enjoys their music etc should not be sending disgusting messages with cursing etc if they do they should be grateful they were not taken to court maybe the idols and actors etc should start doing that more and put a stop to this terrible behaviour

I'm all for Renjun politely calling out abusive people..This world needs more kindness not hate. I also think it is time companies stop telling fans and news outlets when their Idols are travelling, it is getting to dangerous for Idols. There should not be anonymity on the internet. People need to be accountable for what they say, so I hope NJ lawsuit is successful.

We did heard a while back that to support the anti-cyberbullying law SK will require valid government id for every online account made haven’t follow up on that one but that is such a great idea. that way ppl will think more before writing malicious and hurtful words online.

Wonyoung already won last year and her case became a landmark case as this is the first time they’re able to get the troll’s identity through court in US- hence Google must comply, it’s expected NewJeans will follow the same procedure, hope they win!

I just wish the company would stop forcing idols to apologise to toxic fans over nothing. I just wish the company take legal actions against toxic fans and use their power to protect the idols from all these toxic fans that needs to seek a therapy. what’s is wrong with them I clearly don’t understand why they aren’t acting like humans but as a crazy psycho. Be like shuhua stand up against mean toxic people. I love shuhua so brave and I would want to be like her to stand up against mean people in our generation. I am so happy to see some idols called out these crazy people that needs help. I hope more and more idols would be brave to do it. Being an idol is not even easy because you have to face these type of toxic fans and people around. This generation is fucked up. Company would always say they knows what is going around and would do anything to protect them and and blah blah blah but still they won’t do anything. I would support the kpop group but I will never ever support a company that wouldn’t do anything fair and protect their idols. Idols are humans too. The company got popular and most known and rich because of idols hard work, without their idols they would be worthless

The Power of having big funds and influences reach by their company is the major factor there.(illit). if they debut in a small company they wont achived things easily.. they r very lucky... all r been pave for them exposures,brand deals..etc.. their only competitor r those g.g from 3 other big companies..the rest of g.g from other small companies r just back ground..that is the reality! I dont know how small companies recovers their investment..when they cannot secure brands,sponsorship.show guesting deals for their idols just like the big 4 can...

I like Queen of Tears but Crash Landing on You should remain # 1 in my opinion. That show was another level of entertainment. The story was solid and really interesting and the cast were all good. There was real chemistry between the leads. It was a perfect storm.

Illit is only popular because of Hybe and BTS. If there was no BTS in hybe, the agency wouldn't even be known. All the groups in Hybe (excluding seventeen and bts) aren't that good at singing, I don't want to be mean, but you guys just have to accept the truth. I agree magnetic is a hit. But without Bts, they wouldn't even be as popular. Hybe isn't even in the top 3. But wth with Renjun's, why do sasaeng's do this. Like chill.

Ok I agree with u that definitely company matters bcs hybe given illit a lot of chance to appear on public before their debute but lessarafim is also under hybe but nowadays people are criticising them for their vocals ....nd one more example ateez there company is not that big despite this fact they are rocking ..... without any doubt SEVENTEEN nd BTS are bestest their vocal , performance but others grp are also good they are talented bnd bro they write lyrics , take part in production too ,in TXT undoubtedly yeonjun is one of the best dancer , in Enhypen niki too., TWS their performance is top notch in sync ....I don't know much about new jeans if they write songs or not but obviously hyein vocals are so good Despite the company I think talents matter to In case of illit they just debuted let's see what happens in future

Didn't Babymonster debut with batter up and sheesh is only ahyeons debut with the group? I'm confused on how yg debuts a group takes rookie of the year awards and debuts them again the next year. And saying but it's their debut as a seven member group is not a reason to treat this comeback as a debut, it's a comeback and ahyeons debut not all of their debut.

I miss seeing BTS at the award shows. Soon enough :) Congrats to SK!!!!!! I just started Queen of Tears and am LOVING IT! Idols need to call out nut job fans in OUTLOUD always! To say to them "Oh you should handle it discreetly?" SHUT UP with that noise. These people are toxic and can put our idols at serious risk mentally AND physically. Handle it quietly? NO absolutely not! Netizens saying that shows how big of a problem they are with the disrespect idols put up with. Netizens are more worried about proper decorum rather than being outraged at those doing the real disrespect. How many more idols does K-POP and the K-Dream industry need to lose over toxic and dangerous fans bullying idols online and in person? What will it take for the world to take this issue seriously? When an idol is physically harmed or worse????? I think a whistle blower accounts need to be in place for all labels and management teams, and then a special team working to monitor those threats being turned in by others catching them online and reporting them. The other thing that is not taken serious enough is imposters causing harm financially to the younger members of fandom. A lot of these kids do not have anyone really looking out for them and as soon as your tags of a group are noticed on any social media, you get pounced on. That is something that will never be able to get under control it will be an issue as long as their is social media, but I wish there was something more to be done.
