Great news! Excellent job Mr Adutwum and your team in the education ministry. This is what Ghana needs. Also thank you goes to the visionary president Nana Akufo Addo for the wonderful job he’s doing for Ghana youths.

Positive news indeed. Instead of journalists in Ghana publishing this great news they will be talking about slay queens and unnecessary political issues.

Let's not just promote STEM at SHS level. Let's make our technical universities truly 'technical' by equipping them with up-to-date technology, so they can absorb these STEM people from SHS. Let's go back to the white paper that recommended the upgrade of our polytechnics; beyond the name change, let's implement the lessons the committee picked from the German system and equip our youth for the future. The recommendations are there; let's DO them. Let's pump a chunk of national budget into this. The too much dondology education is only creating jobless young people, or shall one say Betway addicts😹🤷🏽‍♂️

@@elliotvulley415 Ahaa, as always. So thickheaded. Your extreme sense of partisanship has clouded your comprehension skills abi? This is not even "criticising," although I'm not one to mince words if I mean to. This is to urge that we are HOLISTIC and not disjointed in our approach to science and technical education. This is to stoke a discussion about what next after STEM education in SHS. This is to say let's prepare our technical universities well to receive these STEM people from SHS. I'm a STEM promoter. Why would I criticise the building of a STEM school? Funny. I did work, not even under this gov't, assessing the state of training equipment at the polytechnics when the conversion happened. We were shocked at the sorry state of equipment at the auto engineering and mechanical engineering workshops at some of the technical universities. Can you believe some of the equipment dated back to the Acheampong era? Yup, in today's world of full-scale automation in many industries. It was sad to also discover that it was easier for SHS graduates from the grammar schools to gain admission to the polytechnics than those who attended actual technical secondary schools. Make that make sense to me. This is not a govt-of-the-day created problem. But should we not raise it simply because this gov't you so much love happens to be the one in charge at the moment? Can we not have a discussion about what we need to do as a country without it being from a partisan perspective always? Why are some of you so narrow-minded? If I raised a point you disagreed with in essence, you raise your own point on the subject matter. Not this childishly emotive stream of invective! I always say that I don't have a problem with you if you're a young person who would always jump to the defence of the government of the day because that's how you earn your daily bread. But if you do it simply because, 'oh, it's our party,' then me ma wo due. And see who's asking someone to go learn about why STEM is being introduced. Funny.

Is this the reply to my two line statement? Sorry for provoking you to launch into such long and denigrating treatise. I wish I was one of the paid attack dogs for the current administration. However, just to let you know am not anything near what description you've given me. Your introductory lines about equipping technical universities makes me feel you're in need of updating your knowledge on the current happenings on the technical education space. Will not answer you back even if you call me any names thousand times.

@@elliotvulley415 Mr, since you know and I don't know, why don't you tell us? You come here making no point of your own but just criticising others for sharing their opinion about a matter that concerns us all. Are you one of those who sit in public offices and do little but are always in denial when concerns are raised? What's your problem?

It's good to show case good things this government has started & completed. But it would be good also to show some of the thing the past government did & couldn't complete but have completed by this government. I don't think, all the projects by the past government have been abandoned. We don't hear much about the "E" block, but I hope this government is working on them
@worcesterboy97
@worcesterboy97 Год назад
This government has completed most of President Mahama's E-blocks but in this country negativities sell more than positivities so they won't talk about that . I'm always grateful to all our politicians since 1992 because I've been to some African countries who have much more resources than us but don't have half of what we've achieved . Our politicians haven't been the best but they haven't also been the worst . Let's appreciate them some times .
