Remember this car wash everyone? If you do, this wash had 2 HydroSpray Rainmaker machines that were complete GARBAGE and always did a horrible job at “cleaning” cars! And they also had the terrible International Drying Corp dryers. But then, something INCREDIBLE happed.
About 2 months ago, the car wash was completely broken, including the 2 HydroSpray Rainmaker units and the 2 self service bays. They were abandoned for a few days before all of a sudden, they reopened and the 2 HydroSpray Rainmaker machines were torn out (along with the dryers) and replaced with 2 “New” Used PDQ LaserWash G5 machines!
I know that they are used machines as they have the older signage (which is rusting alot) and they have the on-board LaserDri Dryers instead of the MaxAir dryers. The gas station must’ve wanted to install used systems instead of spending a ton of money on a new system. So that’s why they could’ve installed these used machines. But they did install WashWorld Power Tower wheel blasters.
The bay walls were pressure washed too! They were absolutely disgusting and dirty when it held the HydroSpray machines in it. But since they are gone, the people who installed the LaserWash units pressure washed the bay, removed the HydroSpray Rainmaker machines and dryers and then put in the LaserWash machines. The old Wash Select II pay stations were also replaced with Unitec C-Start pay stations.
Another change was the business hours. The car wash used to be open 24/7, but since these LaserWash machines were installed, they now have hours to them. They are open from 6AM to 10PM. Don’t know why they did that. I also noticed that the first LaserWash bay was still being worked on and the man working on it had a Haffner’s shirt on. And the menus looks really similar to the Haffner’s car wash menus, so I don’t know what the deal is with that...

Wash Quality: Outstanding! It was a LOT better than the horrible HydroSpray rainmakers that were here before. It ACTUALLY had triple foam, it even had Hot Wax! Which was obviously been retrofitted on. Our car was covered in Bird poop and bugs, and surprisingly, this wash got all of it off! Overall, I’d highly recommend checking this wash out to anyone who is in the Plymouth Area!
