Ive been planning to get a delightful for at least two years now...and the second im ready to commit THEY WERE NO LONGER AVAILABLE ONLINE...but im soo happy so see that they were brought back and im loving the pink interiors!!! loved your video very informative! and yes it sucks the new models look "cheaper" :(

Another great reveal BJ. Thank you. I like that they added the charm of the Artsy. I was thinking of buying the Artsy in Azur but reconsidered as I noticed the handle being so stiff hurts my shoulder in Summer. This one would be comfortable though.
Great comparison! I was oogling the DE Delightful, but I am just going to enjoy my old school monogram one for sure now, she is over three years old and no problems at all :)
Love your reviews...simply the best. I bought a Neverfull in Damier Azur in March...I was shocked at the thinness of the canvas compared to just a couple of years ago. Prices up and quality down...not sure how long I will continue to support Louis Vuitton. Makes me sad, my favorite for many, many years.
I love your videos. Thanks for sharing a comparison between the new and old Delightful. I have a delightful too and from watching your video I'm glad I purchased mine a while back! I also think the new design of the rings of where the handles are, are a bad idea.
Thank you for this great and honest review!!! You really helped me to decide if I am interested in this bag or not. As you I don't like the patina against the DA, I think it looks really odd. So thank you for the idea to wrap the handle with a twilly. I hope LV would have continued the Soffi, in my opinion this was the most beautiful and versatile bag in DA. Thanks for the heads up on the DE Delightful. I preordered mine and haven't picked it up yet. My SA says that she checked all the arrivals and picked the best one that was MIF. She said that the cracking issue is already being reported in the last few days, seems to be the MIU bags, but that if it happens, LV will fix the bag for no charge. I'd rather not go through the trouble of a repair, so we'll see. But I did make sure I had a MIF bag.

midgreen100 I would love to see a DE Artsy :) But with LV's record with new DE bags, it would be problematic ;( I am sure a DE handle would be an issue as well in terms of comfort.

Love this review. This is such a cute bag. The pink must look different than does in real life. In pictures it looks pretty. I have the old Delightful and love it. I just wish the old one came with the bag charm. It is such a same they can't fix the problems with DE. My Neverfull DE from 2011 has cracking issues on the trim. I hate to take it in only to have it crack some more. I hope you enjoy your new bag!

Hi BJTaylor. So glad you did a video on this bag. I just picked up mine yesterday in the DE print. It is a beautiful bag! I really love the look of it and I am really hoping that it holds up. I do already see that wrinkling may occur in the trim where the clasps are stiched in but we'll see! The quality is a bit leaner than usual but at the same time, I was really looking for a casual bag that was pretty and worry free and this checks both of those boxes. I do love the mono and realized as you were modeling the bags that the mono looks more casual and the Azur looks really classy on you. It made me appreciate the changes they made because it looks more classy, cool. Not so casual and slouchy. I love that is has just enough slouch without looking sloppy. Thanks again for your videos, I love them! Hope you enjoy your bag!!!
I am getting one for my birthday and when I went on there website it looks like they are no longer making it with the pink liner? I personally do not like it but I was wondering if you new anything about it? By the way, I love your videos!! Thanks for taking the time to make them & share!

Love your reviews! Just watched this Review yesterday as I was thinking about the New delightful. I have the PM Size in Monogram ( old Model ) and hat a Look on the New one today. As you mentioned the Pink is not a nice Pink so I wenn for the damier Ebene - will Keep you posted on how it holds up in terms of the Leather on the top and the wrinkled handle...
I totally agree with you regarding the pink. I just don't understand why they would choose such a shade. I really like the Artsy charm that they added to it though.

Jessica Martinez Hi Jessica! I still use either LMB or Apple Garde to treat the leather. I find Apple Garde to be quicker and easier to treat but both are effective. I can't say if one is more effective than the other. :)
Thanks for posting this helpful video. I wanted to purchase the pm monogram Delightful about a month ago and the SA said I should wait for the new model because it was improved. After seeing your video, I'm hoping I can find the old model because the quality seems much better. I'm losing faith in LV when they raise prices and lower quality.

Great video!! I purchased the new delightful in monogram with pink interior on the 27th. I love it so far!!! The pink is a much darker shade. Do you use a cross body strap with you're delightful?
I love your reviews. I fully agree with your thoughts on this change to the bag. I have a number of LV pieces that I bought over the last few years but I am becoming increasingly concerned about indicators that the brand is trying to cut corners on quality. . It is disappointing to think Vuitton may be trying to use lower quality products while they keep increasing prices so much. I live in Canada where we just faced a significant price increase! Still love the bags I have though!!!
Thanks for doing the comparison, it was definitely helpful. But I must say it is almost better to purchase a preloved delightful in the older model. It really surprised me when your hand showed through the bag. The thread would concern me too. With the price tag on those bags. You would think they would not skim on the quality, just my opinion of course. I just purchased the DE totally MM and hopefully I won't have the problem with cracking....TFS
Great video! I purchased the NM Mono and then took it back and had LV get me the older model! I just like the older bag and as you stated - it's better quality....
I did not treat the vachetta with Lovin my bags, I didn't have any on hand. But I could use Apple Garde as an alternative. Since I have been keeping it covered with the bandeau, I haven't worried about treating the vachetta. :)
Beautiful bag!! I saw it at the store!! Interior is gorgeous but they seem to be making thinner canvas and hardware not as substantial! Same in the new totally I looked at! Kinda disappointing! But beautiful bag!! Congrats!
Great comparison, I noticed the Azure doesnt have the made in france tag on the outside like the monogram That looks weird to me. Either way it is a nice bag :)
Hi Bjtaylor. I have some questions for you if you don't mind. Do you notice a difference in the slouch between the 2 versions due to the change in size and shape? Do you feel like your Azur has a good enough of a slouch to it? That was what was so great about the Delightful. The great slouchiness!! I just hope that it can also be achieved with this new style. I have it in DE and I'm wondering if the DE canvas will soften enough to slouch. Have your DE pieces softened up over time? I have only owned mono pieces and this is my first Delightful.
I was thinking of selling my azur stressa pm for this bag as I enjoy my monogram delightful so much, but now I am rethinking that...Not a fan of the thin canvas. Very informative as always BJ. Thank u :-)
