This is our home park too! When we had horses we belonged to the group that does all the trail work. They put in the horse obstacle park. Can't wait to try it next yr.
We drove through the park last weekend. Nice surprise. Will try it again sometime this weekend. The lake is not good for boats. There are plans to remove the dam. The allow Judy a stream through the area.
Great campground, stayed many times in my teardrop, no hookup sites, so now that all has been remade, I guess I will see if I can get there during the week when not busy, still don't like electric hookups, but it is what it is.... thanks for video !!
Your vids have convinced me we need to expand our travels into Ohio, really some nice places. I think seeing where I might want to go is my second favorite thing about your channel.
I do believe that we were there at Van Buren when you were there.. (9-27 - 9-29) and we were there again this past weekend we love it there it's only 6 miles from our home. (10-18 - 10-21) Thanks for the video..
We agree about the pancakes! That's our fear is that now the park will be busy all the time since everything is nice and every site has power. We liked it being quiet and mostly non electric
Thank you! We hope it doesn't get too popular and crowded now.. Another one of our non electric campgrounds bites the dust☹️ appreciate the comment!😁👏🏻
We stayed there in Sept of 2018 with our then 5th wheel. We have not been there with the Renegade yet. But it's on our list. Thanks for the video, appreciate all the effort and time you put into each one of them, not easy.
It's definitely a great park and we hope it doesn't get too popular and busy now...😬 It's been almost full since it reopened and it's the end of most people's camping season
That's a good upgrade to the site makes it easier to park and the addition of electric and water better for most . I like the area for horses with there own pens such a good idea 🐴👍don't have anything like that over here in UK . Enjoy yourselves 🥩☔🐶🔥🍺
We love the upgrades too but really don't want this park to get too popular and crowded. We love it because it's small and relaxed and hope that doesn't change!
Nope never stayed there. Looks like some nice upgrades. One of the parks we like to go close to home has been closed all years so we are looking forward to spring so we can go check it out and see what they did.
It sucked having a park we enjoy visiting being closed for so long! We didn't even want the upgrades done here🤣 we liked it being almost all non electric and not busy haha
That back curb is no joke. It's obviously not a problem for the Wraith but as former Airstream owners, I'm sure you can imagine a few silver bullets backing their bumper into that thing... Also, I'm wondering if it's appropriate to ask for a breathalyzer for Christmas?
Oh yeah, there were some travel trailers that had to be very careful backing up! Not sure why they made them so tall so that RVs can't overhang. On the equestrian camp side they're normal height. You should definitely ask for a breathalyzer for Christmas😂 it's just a fun thing to have around!
Definitely some decent upgrades and a huge plus to have water at every site. Only one dump could be a downer when everyone leaves out at the end of the weekend. This park is definitely on my list of want to go, just don’t know when I’ll be able to actually go lol. Is the cell service still sucky over there?
T-Mobile is the best by far. I don't think Verizon or att did much of anything haha There is another dump station on the other side of the park, just this is a new one actually in the campground.
More of a problem for travel trailers that would normally want to overhang to fit on the pad better. We saw a few that their trucks didn't fit and they had to moved it to other parking. Oddly enough the parking curbs are normal height on the equestrian camp sure
Do you not take the Jeep sometimes? I have watched a lot of your videos and sometimes it seems like you do not leave, you may have also not brought the Jeep but I don't recall.
We take the Jeep pretty much every time because you never know if we will leave or not. We were gone on this series of trips for awhile so the Jeep goes. We did leave when we were at this park but it was on a day we didn't record any video. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it
I live 9 miles away. The upgrades look good. However I fear it’s a wasted effort. The lake if you call it that is unable to be swam in. There’s no fish in it really. And they are talking about draining and getting rid of the lake soon. So besides equestrian and a sorry archery range there’s nothing there. Which is really sad because there’s so much potential that’s been wasted.
in this video you sound like you want the camp ground to your self Incase you don't know camp grounds are for everyone please try to get along with everyone
