Today we got to interview 3X Emmy Award Winner, 6X “Dancing With The Stars” Champion, New York Times Best Selling Author, and our friend, Derek Hough, along with his beautiful wife, Hayley Erbert! After getting married a few months ago, Derek and Hayley are now on tour together for “A Symphony of Dance,” and we’re counting down the days until we get to see the show later this month! It still feels surreal that we get to call this incredible couple friends, I remember meeting Derek for the first time on “Dancing With the Stars” back in 2012 and I was so starstruck. We hope you love this episode as much as we love this couple!

It’s crazy watching this after Hayley’s emergency brain surgery. They talked about doing all these things to be healthy and this still happened to her. Crazy how something like that can happen to anyone in a split second. They also talked about having gone through all these things together already. This will be a huge challenge but I believe they will come out on the other side even stronger. ❤ They definitely didn’t have this in their plans going into the new year but hopefully they can see this occurring is all a part of the bigger picture. Also their relationship is an inspiration and role model to me. I love the way they look at each other and speak about each other. They are so in love. 💗

I think the brain bleed was an outcome from a recent car accident and a head injury….just my thoughts. Very scary for her but thank God she is recovering from this awful thing! ❤️🙏🏻

Just had this thought. Andrew, you have the perfect voice that is just naturally soothing. It would be Perfect to record children audiobooks for bed. (Along with all the other things you guys do and want to do in the future)

This was highly enjoyable. Andrew needs to be enlightened on the athletic demands of dance. I vote he should be a contestant, Hayley said it first😂.

Derek, when you described how you always felt you had to entertain (and maybe even people please and perform in some way), but with Hayley, you could go on a walk and feel at peace- THAT is the heart of life- that is divine. So precious. Hang onto that and NEVER let go- such a beautiful thing and I was touched by that.

He would have to do something to really distinguish himself, that is, a feat, achievement, accomplishment, etc. to truly set him apart from Shawn even - if gimmicky, otherwise, merely being the side-kick to an Olympic gymnast/past contestant will not or should not be enough to get him 'over the hump'.

I just laughed SO HARD at the part when they talked about watching lizzie mcguire on their honeymoon in italy- it was funny and kinda cute that Hayley brought it up to him, but them WATCHING it, imagining that- SOOOO funny. Thank you for that! hahaha

46:30 Derek understands that seeking perfection = seeking improvement and growth. some people think seeking perfection means never failing and they see any failures as extreme detriments and thats where they mess up n jump off buildings about. Derek wants to be the best he can be and thats what seeking perfection really is. its not "never messing up, never failing"

This was such a great interview! Derek’s answer to Shawn’s question about why marriage now was so inspiring. I also really related to the story about post-show feedback and Hayley feeling like it was constant critiques. I taught acting and theatre for a long time and would always remind my students during notes sessions after a rehearsal or a performance that while I would do my best to point out a couple of great moments, I couldn’t possibly point them all out because we’d be there for a week!

Also seeing the evolution of a relationship that began with Derek as a teacher and now Shaun being someone he's learning and drawing inspiration from in an entirely different way.

Wonderful interview with these four gorgeous, talented high-achievers/friends that come across as so friendly, humble and relatable. I've been a fan of Derek's dancing since Season one of DWTS and have been to three of his tours. It's really wonderful to see him so happy with Haley who is an equally fantastic dancer. I wish them continued happiness. I'm probably alone in saying this, but I don't think Haley and Shawn's faces need all that Botox and fillers - they are naturally beautiful.

Who's reporting that Shawn has had _'all that Botox and fillers'_ ? ..can't imagine she'd succumb to such insanity, especially at her relatively young age ..the other chick, I don't know I suppose it's possible , there _is_ however, something definitely going on with the teeth that strikes me as not all together natural aside from the ridiculously white hue

Since Hayleys scarey Brain Bleed and surgeries I would really like to hear from them when they are ready to let us all who care so much about them hear how they are doing. What a horrific experience for them to go through. I'm so glad that she is doing so much better.

Oh my GOD they talked about death? Now Hayley is hospitalized 😢 oh, amazing he cared so much to put good vitamins in their bodies, then became “fully vaccinated “? He, along with so many Hollywood personalities, took the shots, when they were untested and had spike proteins in them. Some batches were bad as a result. Why is that? Why would many of these batches be designed that way? A perfectly fit Hayley now is fighting for her life and probably will never dance again, not like before. It’s all sickening 😢 Listen to world renown Dr. Peter McCullough! Please people. I’m 71 but strokes and brain bleeds were unheard of in young people! Do research don’t believe the Media, ok?

They actually did _'say'_ "Hayley Hough" during the interview itself but billed the show using her(former?) professional or maiden name for recognition purposes honoring her years in the spotlight under that moniker.

@JB11334. They are both incense meant to be burnt. Palo Santo however should not be used around people with breathing issues or pregnant and/or breastfeeding women. Hope Shawn is OK after inhaling it.
