I still go back and forth with this one myself. But after 15-20 listens now this song just screams " it is summer and I am driving on the highway with the windows down and volume on max " and I love that vibe from it

If you saw the interview he had released right before this it would make sense. He was saying how he’s just tired of writing the dark and depressing stuff. His mental couldn’t take it anymore and wanted a new direction. Great reaction to it, honest throughout
At first I was also a little confused about if I liked it or hated it. After a few listening, I LOVE it. It’s super positive and I enjoy it on a hot summer day. We must admit that it’s very catchy.
Highly disagree yes it catchy but I think it’s far from awful I think it’s different it shows another side of Caleb and that’s very important in a singer progression through life their music needs to reflect how they feel and right now he’s happy and that is a good thing
