This is Johnny Cash's first appearance at the Newport Folk Festival, he would then appear later in 1969 after Luther's death. I've seen that he appeared in 1965, but it may have been a typo.
For this performance, Johnny introduced a rather new song from an Album he released earlier that year, as well as some old Classics of country music:

• Don't Think Twice It's Alright
• I Walk The Line
• The Ballad of Ira Hayes

I was at the1969 show at Newport. By then he had cleaned up, just began his TV show, and was selling a huge number of records, especially his old stuff. Hope you can get the '69 tape. Thanks for this one.

Hello, friend. Just wanna let you know that you've done some great work for a Johnny Cash fan like me, I've been watching your channel for around 2 years. Got one question, though, considering my favourite show of his being probably this one, at the Newport Folk Festival in 1964, I gotta ask - are you aware of any image recordings beside a piece of Don't Think Twice and I Walk The Line? I'm guessing the whole performance must've been recorded, but somebody's holding it. Around three years ago I've stumbled upon a complete, full HD recording of I Walk The Line, but it has been deleted from RU-vid. I can see some pieces of it here, on your video. Thanks for all your work and let me know :)

I do believe there is a full recording of the show, though of course there's always the possibility that there is not. Either way, the footage itself, I believe is owned by the Newport Folk Festival association(or something among those lines). I personally have not sought after this footage, because If a documentary can't get their hands on this footage, what makes me think I can? I hope this helps, thank you loyal viewer.
