@giftofgab247 4 years isn't forever, but 4 years is definitely a much longer time than many claimed. Cody's feud with MJF? Cody vs Wardlow in a steel cage? Jon Moxley's feud with the Inner Circle that is comparable to DDP vs the nWo? Some of the best Wrestling segments to be on national US television in years, and AEW's ratings have surpassed NXT's ratings recently as a result. Yes it's absolutely possible that AEW could go south, but things are looking pretty good so far. I get it if you don't like AEW, but personally I'm optimistic. That's awesome that you were there for the Monday Night Wars.
@giftofgab247Nothing wrong with Wrestling not being for you anymore. If AEW is not your thing, have you tried NJPW, NWA, or MLW? I wouldn't recommend Ring of Honor if you don't prefer AEW. I tried both Ring of Honor and NJPW and neither quite suited me. But AEW suits me really well on the other hand. Yeah, I'm glad they are succeeding as well, I guess we'll just have to see if at any point they start to decline like WCW did, though I sure hope not.
oceanwavedvd I go to that school. I had that gym teacher. He is the best gym teacher and a great person, but this school mostly besides is dogshiz we did not deserve to have the Burberry scarf man here
His character works perfectly everywhere because of how realistic it is. Like I can definitely see a dude walking around talking like this in real life. Not saying every gimmick should be real, just saying why him staying in his gimmick 24/7 works.
@@tylerrcasement He is. And that's a lot of great matches, CZW and Limitless wrestling matches are dope, GZW,etc He's young and talented, you? just a pussy
@@tylerrcasement he's more about being a great charecter then having great matches. As an older fan I love this because so many guys just want to have great matches and not enough ppl want to be great charecters in modern pro wrestling.
@@tylerrcasement who cares , wrestling is about story telling and how do you make the crowd feel while telling the story. If it was only base on wrestling skills then hulk hogan would never had been a household
He is better than us. We do know it. MJF is the best in the world at what he does, and if he's not seen as a true living legend ten years from now then someone will have royally screwed up.
@@lawrencemowery3704 To answer both your questions, Lawrence: 1. No, I'm pretty sure he's not an asshole in real life. Max Friedman when he's not in the MJF persona is probably a total sweetheart, but he keeps it on in order to maintain kayfabe, which very few people in wrestling do anymore nor as good as he does. 2. The Mets, I guess? He grew up in Plainview, and that's not far from Queens where the Mets play, so I think that would make the most sense.
This is definitely MJF out of character however kayfabe isn't totally dead, MJF keeps that tradition alive he generally doesnt break character that often no matter the situation love his heel persona
