News 24 Team visited the NIT Srinagar campus on 6th April 2022, interacted with various Students, Faculty Members and Administration to know more about Life at NIT Srinagar, and how things are going in the Post-Covid Era.
Basically Kashmir has been a progressive society all along. Daughters are valued more than son. I happen to interact in a large debate once on this subject and there was this Sardarji from Uptown Srinagar who said that decision making of daughters is valued more than sons in Kashmir even after daughters are married to their husbands. And then South Kashmir has been leading in education lately despite disturbances.
And what their environment, i mean is it safe for non kashmiris , do they face any discrimination like i always hear Kashmiris wants seperate country, so how they tolerate students from out kashmir, ??? And which country their kashmiri students support, ? India or Pakistan????
@@kanchanmala5111 so i am from kashmir ..lemme clear out some things ..we dont support either india or pakistan ..we just wish for our welfare..and we dont have any biased hatred towards indians.,,we also dont have any problem with indians studying here ..now u might think that in the recent news u heard about the killings of kashmiri pandits which started due to the outrage after kashmiri files was launched ..it happened bck in the 90s too but they were no such recent stuff until the movie surfaced but that doesnt justify it i know ...we werent happy either when those kashmiri pandits died coz they are also kashmiris afterall..infact u can see soo many muslims in their funeral ...but there are always such disturbing elemnts from both sides ,,like kashmiri students are also beaten up in indian states .,,

Being alumni of this college way back 62 - 67 batch ,it was walking through memory lanes of bygone times . More so the devloped infrastructures of this institute . We had our training in minimal infrastructures during our times .Salute to institute

Many long ago there a King of Kashmir Named "Zain Ul Abadin"(Budshah). he started encouraging youth and sponsor their higher education from famous universities of Europe, Middle East, Asia, Kashmiris are well known for their contributions in Every Stream of Education.

You very well know what nonkashmiri students go through and the restrictions they have to cope up with.

10 students who were from nit srinagar appeared in 4th class posts with me and surprisingly no one qualified 4th class exam Phd waly berozgar ha btech mtech ko to chordo
Bcus the fact is if u compare a engineer student and an arts student u will find the arts student hve much more knowledge in history gk n cureent which is sufficient to crack an exm if u hve a base

Yaar ek baat sach batayu hmm actually jab insan college main hota hai wo kuch b krne ko sochta hai lekin college se pass out k baad kuch bahar ka environment oar ho hota hai.. It's fact because when i was pursuing engineering i have big goals irrespective of knowing about employment security but when i completed the engineering then first i adjust myself according to unemployment ratio and after that i move forward to goal...
if things had been stable in the past than i am sure today nit srinagar must be comparable to nit trichy and nit waranagal like institutes but still various people have myths about nit srinagar and honestly saying i want that myths to retain so that jee cutoff should not increase till my jee 😂
