This is another SCAM. She is saying NHIF was only covering inpatient and not outpatient services which is a big lie! I have been accessing outpatient services with my NHIF card.
I have paid NHIF over 15 years, in all that time it has served me exactly once - it paid a part of the bed charges for a 2 day hospitalization. Everything else I have ever needed has been paid by private insurance or out of pocket. NHIF was not covering everyone equally.
Employ more nurses/clinical officers at level 2 and 3, most are jobless and hustling while patients spend hours waiting to be served at these hospitals by 1 person
